That is why they are the LOLeafs. They actually thought they could get Mantha for Phaneuf and his anchor of a contract?

Exactly. Since Buffalo is paying half the salary he can be put in the press box at any time.

Both Luongo and Montoya are hurt. Montoya is gimpy as heck and who is going to play goal? Rob Tallis? Some beer leaguer in the stands (who's had a few?). Some Jr goalie (who forfeits NCAA eligibility)? Some forward?

Heck, it's Toronto. Play 6 on 5.

Tallis is dressed. Hasn't played in the NHL since 2001.

Tallas is FLA goalie coach, just signed emergency contract during game.

Markstrom lasts less than 8 minutes in his season debut, coughing up 3 goals on 4 shots to the Sharks. Remember when he was Florida's hottest prospect?

Finally had the chance to watch the highlights. What a circus. One would have expected that to happen to Toronto, not their opponent. ;)

Apparently Luongo was at the hospital when Montoya got hurt. My goodness.
