Re: NFL Offseason: The Saints won the Superbowl, and are now Marchin on to the NFL Draft.
EODS, you know there are clowns who will take thought #2 with them to their grave. I know you post on Badgernation. There is the one guy who claims to know front office people who quoted Ted Thompson's first words as Packers' GM to be questioning how they were going to get rid of the attention whore who I refuse to call by name. I have a hard time deciding what is bigger with that notion, the utter ridiculousness of it or the sheer tiredness of it. I'm not sure tiredness is a word and I don't feel like looking it up, but if it isn't it should be.
In the Vikings' situation the feelings of a future Hall of Fame QB who may or may not take another snap for them shouldn't have been considered in the least. It simply should have been did they like a guy like McCoy or didn't they. If they thought he could be a good NFL QB they probably should have taken him. If not, then they shouldn't have. None of this should have hinged on the feelings of the Wilff Brothers' boss. Would he have taken the young guy under his wing? Almost certainly not, but it isn't his job to develop a young QB so again who cares.
