I get it that the draft is in the real world and mocks are just that. However, it points to feedback that people got and where guys who study this for a living saw his value.

It was a stupid pick, nothing against the kid. The Vikings need OL, LB and DB and gavue up their 3rd round pick to get a backup RB? And the Cook kid I think has 3 career INTs. As good as the last few Vikings drafts were, this one has started poorly.

Bruce Campbell is still on the board, and one of Count Kipers best available, hopefully he comes equipped with a chainsaw on his right arm...

The biggest winner in the draft is Tim Tebow.

The Missionary wins it again.

He'll bring the Power of the Lord to the football field but probably won't do anything else.

This guy has "bible thumping Danny Wuerffel" written all over him.

HOWEVER:

He's convinced the Broncos to spend 1st round money on the guy. Congrats! You win!

Tebow has played the game and defeated the mighty GM of the Broncos (and their head coach).

Oh well.

At least the Queens are back. no 1st rounders, 1 corner and 1 RB in the 2nd round, no 3rd round, a DE in the 4th round. I don't particularly care if they trade down or get rid of draft picks (even first rounders) if they get something in return.

So far, their biggest need is pass secondary and QB. They got one secondary and they're still waiting to find a decent QB because Classen and McCoy are obviously overrated. Oh well.

My prediction: The Queens take Jim Skelton of Fordham. Why? Because Childress has a hardon for QBs that are unproven against tough competition. Skelton plays in DIAA (now FCS). He can be mentored by that uber awesome vet, TJack in how to do it. TJack has sucked for his entire NFL career and he got resigned a few days back so he can teach Jim how to pull that BS off.


Now back to the mystery of why in the heck I care about the stupid Queens?

I'd be more upset that they didn't draft Charles Brown or Bruce Matthews to shore up your terrible o-line then traded back up for McCoy.

Your draft is beyond stupid.

For a fourth round pick in 2012. I mean I know he ain't Peyton but I'd think we could get a little more than that.

Don't rule out Dukes killing Mora Jr. during the commerical break.

Mora thinks all 32 teams did just a super job! I thought he was going to get out a stack of certificates of participation and start filling them out for every coach and GM.

Last time I checked the 2-time defending NFC North winners are the odds on favorite to win the division again. I didn't like the 2-picks for Gerhart move myself, but they did draft good potential with one OL, DL, LB and hopefully CB.

LOL!!!

First off: I'm no Packers fan.

Secondly: WHo gives a **** where the Queens finish? The NFC North is the weakest division in the NFC. Since the NFC is weaker than the AFC, do the math.

The Queens did good with the OL, DE, and such but they failed to address their primary problem: QB. IF Favre flakes out (which I say 60-40 he does), then you are stuck with Tavaris Suckfest Jackson.

There is NO F-ING WAY the Vikings compete much past the first round of the playoffs with TSuck at the helm.

As for the Pack, meh. Who really cares?
