Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

My undefeated record may be in jeopardy! but probably not...
I'm down 3 points going into tonight's game (standard yahoo scoring) and I have Colston left, my opponent has no one left. I should be OK, as long as Colston doesn't get hurt or completely shut down.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

So far, so good.....Turner has got me 14 points, and White and Brees haven't gone ballistic.......17 point lead currently.

Check that. 19 point lead. Brees threw it to the wrong team.

Thank you Marques Colston, that TD clinches my 8th straight victory. 8-0 on the season, and rolling....:D
I have the Vikings D, on the bye next week, so I just dropped them and picked up the Patriots D, I think thats a decent pickup for a defense replacement for the bye week.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Much parity in my league. 9 of 10 teams are either 4-3 or 3-4. I'm playing the one team that is 2-5, and he shellacked me in Week 1 on the shoulders of Brees' 6 TD performance.

I have a 15 point lead at the half. I don't like the fact that Atlanta is behind now. Hopefully they realize that they're only good when they run first and pass second, because I'm also up against Roddy White as well.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

can we just please give the SB trophy to NO already?!?!!?:p

Only if the 1998 Vikings can have theirs ;)

Nice to see the NO defense is really stepping it up like ESPN tries to make everyone believe

edit: Doh...well they are opportunistic I will say that.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Wow the refs bailed out the Saints there...dont you have to grab a player to hold them?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

I don't need this stress. I think I'm in a 3 point game against Drew Brees after that TD. Atlanta: Please run out the clock?

Oops, forgot that its only 4 points for passing TD's. Not nearly as much stress now.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

agree... i'd like to save some of these calls for them until feb!

The calls wont matter...they will **** down their legs in the playoffs like they always have in their history. Some franchises just dont win...trust me I know ;)

BTW I am hoping they get homefield...I dont want the vikes to have it so they can **** down THEIR leg :p ;)

That's a pass, his hand was still pushing it, not very strongly but it was still controlling where it was going.

That should work, BrettFavre knows how to win big games at the Louisiana Superdome. ;)
