Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

God doesn't let people have fun when they and their flat-top wearing butt-ugly wife dedicate their lives to him.

She looked like the wife of a bagger at Hy-Vee ;)

Seriously though if Gozer the Traveler ever gets her own movie "Mrs." Warner needs to get the part! I can promise you no one will want to cross the streams ;)

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Saying the New Orleans love is on par with Favre is epic hyperbole. Nothing comes close to the Favre ballwashing right now. There's not a thing even remotely close to it and now people are putting him up there for MVP.

New Orleans is a nice story, but there's no way in hell they're in the same universe as TheBrettFavre.

This particular year? Yes, you are correct. But when you can STILL bring up Katrina, that goes to show how big the BS was a few years ago when it ACTUALLY happened. It shouldn't even be mentioned in a New Orleans Saints storyline right now. It shouldn't even be worthy of an afterthought. Yet, it got mentioned tonight. That's my point. ;)

And ESPN blows donkeys, that was my point. :)

And if you google Kurt's wife....she actually is now sorta kinda NPB. I never thought it could be true but dang, those wonders of science and technology!

Further proof that you know nothing and have no taste...not that any of us are surprised but it needed to be said ;)

Ya know what would be nice...if instead of ESPN and the Saints talking about Katrina and all that SOMEONE ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! Mother of Gozer the fact that we are now in another administration and nothing has changed in that town is just nuts. It isnt the fans in the stadium that are the ones that should be shown week in and week out (if they can afford to buy tickets in the lower bowl for the Aints their house probably has water and electricity right now) it should be the ones who can't sleep in a real home YEARS LATER! That town is the epitome of the screwed up values of this country.

Hey now, I didn't say I'd hit it, but she actually looks like a female now, and I can tell the difference between her and Kurt's mother. :p

Before, she looked like she could play some serious women's softball. Now? She could pass for one of those 40+ dating sites. Non-alternative of course. :D

She's still Gozer to all of us though.

Then you don't hate the Saints, you hate idiot commentators who feel the need to fill the air with stupidity and talking points at all times while manufacturing story lines.

So by this logic, you can understand why everyone around the world, except for Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin, hates the Vikings now, right?

Come again?

(btw I don't hate the Saints, but a little consistency please)

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

I liked the announcement from the referee in the Bears-Cardinals game.

Tommie Harris was sitting on an OL, and then punched him in the head.

The ref gave a personal foul and an ejection, the crowd boos, and the ref says "He punched him in the face." I was waiting for the "So shut the hell up!" :D

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

So apparently you can't challenge if a QB was out of bounds or not when he made a throw.

Manning was a foot in bounds when he let that fly. What a brutal brutal call, and that it wasn't reviewable is a joke.
