Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

probably the correct call there, atleast by the wording of the rule.

There is no way that should have been ruled a fumble under any rule, he was throwing it forward.

God I hate the Saints...but let them keep winning so they get more attention :D

Jesus Katrina was how long ago do we really need to keep talking about it every game they play in?

How the f-ck do you hate the Saints? They're one of the most benign franchises in the NFL.

I agree. If THAT'S going to be the storyline for THIS team, I hope another hurricane hits NO and takes out everything. Not everyone, just everything. Raze the city. End its existence.

Because everytime someone talks about them you have to hear about Katrina and blah blah blah...it is like hearing about Detroit and how the town went into the crapper and how the city needs the teams to win for that reason...

I used to love the Saints in the Jim Mora days...hell in the early 90's they were one of my fave teams outside of the Vikes of course. Now they are like the Marino Dolphins to me...every year they are the ones everyone pulls for because they have the big numbers offense...except they go nowhere.

Then you don't hate the Saints, you hate idiot commentators who feel the need to fill the air with stupidity and talking points at all times while manufacturing story lines. Even New Orleans fans don't want to hear this sh-t - they frigging lived it, why have it get brought up all the time?

No I hate players on the Saints too...I hate Brees and Shockey especially.

Oh and I hate the murder they get away with because everyone feels sorry for them and wants them to win...

So by this logic, you can understand why everyone around the world, except for Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin, hates the Vikings now, right?

Yes...no one mocks the Brett Favre crap as much as me. I just enjoy how much it ****es off Packer fans because who doesnt like ****ing off Packer fans. I also don't care if fans of other teams like my team...in fact I hope they dont because I dont like theirs :D

Yeah Brent I am reeling from that one...

edit: why is it everyone assumes I am a homer. I am the one who says Mauer is going to be a Yankee this time next year and the Vikes will lose in the Title Game. People can accuse me of a lot of things but putting blinders on for the home team is not one of them. Ask around, Minnesota fans hate me more than anyone ;)

I don't think you're a homer at all, I think you're a misguided fan. :D

Way to be original. Even homers are thinking this. :p

And the New Orleans love is the same as the BrettFavre love, only one version comes in Black-n-gold while the other is Purple-n-gold. You may hate the BrettFavre fiasco, but it's still the team that gets the love, and therefore, being a fan, that makes you an associate/accomplice/whatever of said love. ;)

So, people are hating your team and you in the same style as you hate NO.

That's what I meant by saying GLM just said your mom. :D

But don't mind me, I'm hoping my team loses every game until my team's coach is fired. :(

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

Saying the New Orleans love is on par with Favre is epic hyperbole. Nothing comes close to the Favre ballwashing right now. There's not a thing even remotely close to it and now people are putting him up there for MVP.

New Orleans is a nice story, but there's no way in hell they're in the same universe as TheBrettFavre.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

The calls wont matter...they will **** down their legs in the playoffs like they always have in their history. Some franchises just dont win...trust me I know ;)

BTW I am hoping they get homefield...I dont want the vikes to have it so they can **** down THEIR leg :p ;)

nope.. nah-ah. sorry.

i am going to LV to cash that ticket and make it two years in a row for nailing the SB winner.

26 to 1 baby!!!! :D :D :D :D

Opinions vary ;)

I am just going to ignore Brents post because it is filled with so many logical holes I dont have the energy to respond. I will let him believe he won the argument because that is more wins than his Bills will have any time soon :p

That and he'll think he won no matter what you say. Hell, he still thinks he's right about writing checks rather than having a check card.

He wont win MVP...Drew Brees will and it will be dedicated to the people of NO and we will hear for weeks how stuff like that makes life easier on the Saints fans.

There is no story above the Favre story and what is sick about it is that the people that hate it the most feed it the most. Everyone says he likes to be the center of attention but he doesnt need to even try...everyone else does it for him. I mean ESPN and Fox milked an entire offseason on him...I have never seen anything like it.

The only story that has bugged me more than Favre this year was Warner on the Rams...everytime he threw the ball they had to show his butt ugly wife in the stands (she was the spitting image of Gozer the Gozarian) and we had to hear how he worked Hy-Vee (where there is a helpful smile in every aisle) and Jesus showed him the way. Man that was terrible  Too bad he wasn't having fun out there like Favre always is ;)

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #2

God doesn't let people have fun when they and their flat-top wearing butt-ugly wife dedicate their lives to him.
