if it was $3.75MM for four months or nothing.... hmmm:rolleyes:

Even if it meant not being able to escape the clutches of the team in the offseason?

Meh, whatever, I'd be happy to be paid but these guys operate in a different plane of existence than we all do.

I posted that in the YouTube thread last night. :)

Nice to see the Lions starting off so much better than last season....

Lions 0, Saints 13

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

Starting Drew Brees was an excellent decision for me.

He's one of the best QB's in the league and he's playing the Lions. There was no decision and if there actually was, you should stop playing FF immediately.

Pierre Thomas is hurt and I don't think he's playing.

Nice that they updated that so late. Thanks, Yahoo.

Of course, since I said something, he threw a pick and the Lions are trying to not be complete embarrassments.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

Seymour is going to get franchise tagged next season if he plays for the Raiders and doesn't get a new contract.

So I am sure he was trying his hardest to A) get a big, long term contract or B) sign and trade to another team.

ESPN is reporting today that he will report and possibly see some action in the Monday night game.

His press conference was hilarious... Loved the part where he tried claiming his hold out had nothing to do with whether he wanted to play for the Raiders and that he wanted to play there. BWAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

He probably spent 3 of the days hanging out on the side of the Tobin debating on whether playing for the Raiders was better then jumping or not.

Apparently Seymour missed the part about playing hardball on contracts w/ Belichick wasn't going to get you far.

Is Yahoo Gamechannel on the fritz or did something really crazy just happen in the Baltimore-KC game? One play I see L Johnson rushed up the middle for -89 yards, then an incomplete pass, then a 93 yard touchdown to Bowe.

No dickery. He was taking time off the clock. Smart move, actually.

Yeah, I knew that, I just pictured some kid screaming into his headset over XBox Live and calling him all kinds of unsavory names.
