Wait, aren't you also a Patriots fan? I mean, you're also a Red Sox fan to go with your Pirates loyalty right?

And people accuse me of having a lot of teams. Hmmph.

Oh I guess what you do is cool, but what I do isn't. :)

It's like you cherry picked the talented teams from each region.

i follow all the pittsburgh teams, and i didn't have a local basketball team - and did what all white boy junior high basketball players did in 1979 ;)

i don't care if you like the chargers. :p :p (keep tila away from your defense though)

To the overtime argument, here's my proposal:

Same rules as right now, but the team that gets scored on first (instead of losing) gets one possession to tie/take the lead. If they take the lead, the team that scored first gets the same chance. Repeat until you have a winner.

I like it because it gives less incentive to go for a quick FG, and because you're garaunteed two possessions in overtime. I don't care if we still have ties after 15 minutes. The dip****s of the world will just have to put up with the fact that sometimes, on a given night, two teams are equal. If 75 minutes of football doesn't determine that, why bother with an arbitrary winner? Especially in a short, 16 game season, where that unearned win would actually make a big difference.

people hate stillers fans?!?!?!

i thought we were loved? peeps love us. peeps love me.

I'm sorry, but I think we all know at least a few over the top Steelers fans who we want to kill. Present company excepted.

I'm ecstatic that people hate New England fans. We must be doing something right. If I can only get people to hate PC hockey fans, I can die happy.

I agree, except that I think if Team A gets a FG, then Team B goes down and gets a TD...game over. Each gets at least 1 possession...after that, sudden death.

If you don't want to lose on a FG in overtime, play defense. You've got eleven guys on the field just like the other team. It's not the fault of the rules that the Titans' pass defense blows.

No, but it is the fault of the rules that a ridiculous amount of overtime games end on the first possession.
