But they can get the ball... When they stop the other team from moving it.

Both are gimmicky and suck something fierce. Advantage: Push

Gimmicky? Sure, I'll give you that.

But the SO doesn't involve the whole offense/defense in the normal way they are used in the game, unlike football. Get what I'm saying?

people hate stillers fans?!?!?!

i thought we were loved? peeps love us. peeps love me.

Yes. I'd find your fanbase to be one of the biggest flip-floppers in football.

When the Pats beat you two years in a row all your fanbase did was whine about the refs.

Then you win two Super Bowls with the benefit of some calls going your way, and when people point that out, you get so mad and whine about people complaining about refs.

:D

I still love the fanbase in general, because they travel insanely well and are very knowledgeable.

College football OT starts with the teams at the opponents 25 every time. How is that not a gimmick?

I said it was gimmicky. :p

It's not like a FG contest, though, which would probably be the football equivalent of a SO.

You obviously did not live in Pittsburgh during the Pats run. Oh god they spent a week on the radio complaining about that one catch that was called an incomplete when he picked it right off the ground...too close to overturn.

Imagine if that pathetic O-PI happened to the Steeler and the ref happened to live in Seattle.

The Steeler fanbase would have never let it go, they'd be talking about it every day, even now. :)

god, so long ago. how long has it been already since the patsies 'dynasty' ended?? five years? ten years? :p

You wouldn't want to watch the offensive linemen trying to kick field goals?

Chad Ochocinqo kicked an XP in preseason. Apparently he was a former HS kicker. So I repeat my post: who the hell would want to watch 16 Cincy OT games? :p

Wait, aren't you also a Patriots fan? I mean, you're also a Red Sox fan to go with your Pirates loyalty right?

And people accuse me of having a lot of teams. Hmmph.
