I just noticed the Padres close the season in San Fran. Please tell me every one of those games will be on TV if it's still a race. Padres are .5 out in the West and 1 game back in the Wild Card. SF has an easier schedule - Cubs, Rockies and Dbacks, while SD has the Cubs, Reds, and Dodgers. Should be interesting.
And now the Braves are .5 ahead of the Padres for the Wild Card. Races like this are why I love baseball.seriously good race in the NL West. Giants now .5 ahead of the Padres, who are .5 ahead of Atlanta for the Wild Card. SD plays the Cubs, which means they're on TV, and Giants play the DBacks - tomorrow's game is on MLB Network.
I watched that up until they started talking about 1998.

Reds and Rangers can both clinch their divisions tonight.

Giants up 2 on the Padres now!
.f'in Braves. I don't care who wins the West, but I want whoever doesn't to win the Wild Card.

Braves might end up being a cupcake matchup for whoever they face. Without Prado, their lineup is really weakened.
Giants complete their sweep of the DBacks, go up 2.5 on the Padres. If the Padres win, they have to sweep the Giants to at least force a playoff (or not if the Braves falter). Either way, if the Giants take 1 from the Padres they're in.
(Someone check my math.)
