No worries, SanTropez is probably one of those old school UMN fans that still thinks that all 27 players on the UND roster are 29yo Canadian players.
That, and he is probably really ticked about that Haula kid being on the team. What a minute, he's not from MN??????

Alright, on a lighter note....these kids that go to UND these days have no idea what it was like to get into the Gopher/Sioux series when it was at the Old Ralph. Watching the video at the end of the column on the Herald, the one girl said she will have been in line for 6 and half hours. From what I remember, if you showed up early (according to her) at 6h30m before the game (or doors)...you weren't getting in. Granted that was when there were no tickets, just first come, first serve general admission. Looking forward to the games this weekend. Expecting a Sioux sweep, hoping for no let down...as that's what needs to happen for the Gophers to win. The Gophers have talent, individually....but none of them want to play together, therefore, they have an average team at best. An average team is not going to beat the Sioux this weekend.

Pretty sure i said 3-2 tonight check the thread. Sue fans suck Sue balls, the reason u lost was because Frattin was spooning with Genoway before the game, gay ********! See I told everyone when we play the MN ways we win and the boys played that way tonight. The Sky is the limit the boys just have to play. But go look at my previous posts on this thread i called a 3-2 game. Good job boy's way to play a full 60, let get 4 points now and be 4 out of first place.

Nice game, and about what I expected. Both teams brought huge amounts of intensity and played very well. Patterson played very well and was probably the difference maker tonight. Dell was solid, a little shaky on the 2nd goal, but solid.
There are still two points to play for though tomorrow, and hopefully the Sioux can rebound and salvage a split.
The Sioux don't lose too often on Friday night...they were 9-1-1 on Friday's before tonight's loss.

I do enjoy Gopher fans belittling their own team by saying that they are so bad that the only way that North Dakota could lose would be to choke, but the Gophers won this game. The Sioux didn't choke it away.

No, the Sioux didn't choke. That was an intense game, and it'll be very interesting to see what happens tomorrow. It could be very dirty, it could be "only" very chippy.

We can all hope.
In a typical season, Minnesota was always flying high heading into this series and faultered after being swept. Maybe we can reverse that this season.

The Gophers continue to be better on the road than at home. Nice win tonight but I must say the way that the D played tonight the Gophers were lucky to get the W. The defense sucked, blew coverage in the slot and let UND setup too often in the zone, but Patterson was stellar with I think 37 SOG. The second period was a disaster. Barriball was out for all of the second period with an injury but played the third. The Gophers were terrible on faceoffs and it gave UND time to setup in the O zone. Malone was 20-8 on faceoffs!! That has to change overnight. Overall it was good to see the Gophers leaving it all on the ice and playing hard all the way through with some passion. Tomorrow night will be another intense physical game...the Gophers better come out strong. I expect it to get real chippy tomorrow night.
