BIG difference between Frattin cheap *****, traditional UND "style" hockey and being physical. Not saying I have anything to base this on because as of late the Gophers haven't had much passionate or physical play to speak of, but I have a feeling that all you Sioux fans will be eating your words come postgame tonight. Frattin better keep his head up or he will be through the glass after a monster hit from Wehrs or Helgeson. Bring it UND.

Do fans of the Dirty UNDies even watch Hockey? Or do they just show up to the games with a bag of flour hoping to meet a hefty under 250lbs that is not in the immediate family tree (good luck with that one).

It amazes me that they can con kids into living in that piece of $h*T town for any length of time. Why anyone would go there when you could drive 115 East and be at BSU is beyond me.

Any team in the league can make the NCAA tournament. It's called winning the Broadmoor Trophy. UM has the talent, if they get hot at the right time, they can play with any team in the country.

UND is lucky they have a good hockey team. That's about all they have got.

The Gophers could very well take two points tonight, but they won't if Wehrs or Helgeson do something stupid.

:p:D:D UM will most likely make the tournament as an at-large, but they aren't even going to be playing for the Broadmoor. The Wolverines play for the Mason Cup.

Minnesota on the other hand...well, oh how the Gophers have fallen, hoping and praying to win the WCHA Tournament to make the NCAA's. :p:D:D

In the WCHA clean hits that result in something to what you are saying would easily be a major. They'd probably suspend Wehrs/Helgeson for a game on top of it. Trust me ;)

Everyone knows the bad part of Grand Forks is on the Minnesota side.

As for inbreeding...it's fun to make up stuff isn't it! Some of the most beautiful women come from North Dakota or have gone to UND. Top model searches and the like have proven so.

1. Frattin is much stronger on his skates than either Wehrs or Helgeson. If they go after him, my guess is that they will be the ones on the ice.
2. Frattin will be too busy adding to his NCAA-leading goal total instead of bothering with Gopher players exacting "revenge" on him for last year.

Pretty sad that the Gophers need a rocket scientist like Bronzebacks to defend them here. On the plus side, he finally seems to be devloping a peronality. That's a plus.

I can't wait until 2015...

UND will be in their 3rd year with the FlickerTail nickname and the Gophs and Sconi will be in the Big Ten HC.

Have fun recruiting FlickerTail hockey players to UND when the WCHA is watered down and your top rival is Mankato State....can't wait! :D
