Does Vegas have a line on this tournament. If so I want in I got the Engineers. With three teams from the ECAC in the top 10 these guys studying in Troy could be OK

Unfortunately I think you have to go to that summer sport the country plays in the winter if you want to bet on students.

Well the GLI is finally almost here.

This is the best chance for Tech to finally win the tournament as they are not facing powerhouse Top 10 competition.

The schedule they have played thus far is currently rated at #2 for SOS. Hopefully, they can use this experience to play solidly at the GLI.

For Tech to win, they need to get 4 goals per game and have Genoe/Robinson play extremely well. STAY OUT OF THE PENALTY BOX

MSU has been solid this year and will be a similar test to our WCHA foes.
They don't score much, but they don't let up many either.

UM has struggled, but showed that they can put it together with wins over Wisconsin and Minnesota. They lack scoring depth for the first time since I can remember.

RPI comes in with all accounts saying they are a good team which suffers with the loss of D'Amigo.

I would not be surprised to see any team win it this year....that is, any team except Tech. I'm not saying they can't, I'm just saying I will be surprised if Tech wins.

So would I, but they tend to have played stronger at the GLI than in the first halves of their recent seasons. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win one of the games, especially if it's the 3rd place.

Why would you want to recuit Jesus to be a Grinder?? He's a Goalie. I've read up on his profile and all he does is make save after save. ;) :D

If Tech wins this thing, the other three teams should immediately fire their coaching staffs.

OK maybe not, but unless Kevin Genoe plays out of his mind, we're finishing last. You simply can't win games by scoring once or twice and trying to hang on. Well, you can, but not if you're Michigan Tech.

Tropp will probably score a hat trick against us, just to invoke within me one of Brent's patented Mankato Meltdowns™.

Sounds like your season was like ours last year.

Even if we lose to you guys, we won't fire Appert. We believe in Seth Appert.

Look forward to seeing the games out there.
