Lets look at this game here.You have a few really good players,we have more good players.It's easier to stop fewer players--- Advantage - M'ville Experience -M'ville has 6 players with Final Four experience---Advantage -M'ville .EC has home ice-M'ville has only 1 road loss in their last 25---Advantage-None .These coupled with the fact that M'ville has been playing their best hockey down the strech will serve to open a few eyes and silence a number of critics proving that M'ville can shake off the effects of a 'cream puff' schedule and advance.

Josh Carey has even said that if the committee approaches tommorow's championship game like they are supposed to, Elmira should still get the Pool B bid regardless of whether they win or not.
Do I think they should get it or do I think they will get it if they lose? No. But it still doesn't take away from the fact that the reason why posters rip Manhattanville's OOC schedule is because it does have relevance to the NCAA selection process unlike many of the streaks/records/etc that you posted about Manhattanville.

Elmira has four. 6? Big freaking deal. One of EC's is the goaltender.

The beauty of this is they get to settle it on the ice tonight, no computers,no strength of schedule issues, no who's got this or that. A good old fashioned hockey game between two very good programs. Winners goes to the tourney loser goes home.
I like Mville in a modified upset...Because would you really be that shocked if Mville won tonight.

It's been said before, if M'ville wins, it's no guarantee they would go to the tourney.
I agree, either team could win this one but I believe it'll be another, one goal game. I for one hate these games, makes my blood pressure go sky high

I would bet one of my 5 houses that the winner of this game gets in;furthermore,I see the possibility of EC getting in via the backdoor and backing into the torney.

The hype and the talk have just about come to an end.As for the M'ville reference in that other thread I consider it a good omen as I seem to recall that the last time I saw it M'ville responded by going to the Final Four the year following that debacle.All kidding aside I hope for a clean hard game with good luck to both.GO VALIANTS!!!

Valliant, Manhattanville will probably win tonight, Prezde already jinxed EC with his other thread title for score updates. Some people never learn.
Whenever he makes statements like that, it ALWAYS bites him in the behind. Forethought, use some kid!
EDIT: The only silver lining is that he posted that thread with his "Oswego" account. Oswego will probably take the brunt of the jinx (Plattsburgh fans are happy now), but some if it is definitely going EC's way too.
