I seem to remember RIT leaving the league with a very poor showing in Utica....

Not to mention giving up five unanswered goals and losing 7-6 in overtime to some purple team.

Love to be there, but I'm going to Platty to watch the women. Next door neighbour's niece is Lauren sullivan (goalie - EC). I had to have a good laugh over that one. Neighbour told me her niece was going to college in the States and then when she said Elmira College I cracked up laughing. Told her that's where I went for 4 years to watch Lawne play hockey. she asked if I wanted to go to Platty this weekend. I said yes, then I found out I am the GPS for the road trip.

I realize that may be alone in this opinion, but I think it would be cool to see the mobile Corner Crew assembled in their old stomping grounds at the Domes behind the vistor’s bench... portabell, Big Goon, flags, and all... backing Elmira. I sold my soul to bring peace to this rivalry years ago, and I would at least like to see it come full-circle!

The problem is, at that same moment in time Saturday night, our fair ladies will be battling it out in Plattsburgh. I fear any cheering for Elmira in the Domes by a large contingent of RIT faithful would bring upon “bad ju-ju” to the lady Tigers. Don’t get me wrong, I like the ‘EC hockey chicks’... they are great with my kids at the annual “Skate with an Eagle” event, and I think highly of them. But it’s game time, ladies, and for 60 minutes (or more), I am a completely different person. :-)

So RIT had one bad group of seniors who quit after the "Announcement" and Prezde there is no need to mention the Titanic shipwreck that was Elio, the worst goaltender I have seen at RIT, yet will always spit me by having the first D-I shutout at RIT, plus the only RIT Goaltender ever to shutout Elmira :eek: :eek: :eek:

Despite RIT's unglorified exit from the D-III ranks, I would not trade the unprecedented the Tigers have had at D-I. No to mention I don't miss going to Elmira that much :rolleyes:

Ryan Scott allowed me to wash my hand clean of Plattsburgh when he won an National Championship in 2007.

Hey now, we acted a little more civil yes, but I never saw any peace treaty, expect maybe all those ECAC West Championship banners hanging in the Ritter, oh and add the two Atlantic Regular Season Championship, which reminds me its time to order the one we won this year, dang all this winning at RIT, well durning my time I did let Elmira win 1 ECAC West Tourament so that should be peace enough :D

Ok this does bring back some memories :)

Wish!! I am the asst. coach of the high school Albert played at. The last few years I have missed some games on the weekends. Wonder why(only missed about 10 of his 100 games played)They pay me and I owe them. We are in the State playoffs with a decent team. NCAA game I will be there.

I'm doing color for the radio broadcast on WELM 1410 AM. I'll give a shoutout to you and the lovely Mrs. M.

If there is anyone else out there who will be listening to the WELM 1410 broadcast, let me know so I can recognize you. It's nice to know that there are live bodies on the other end listening.

Would your "sonny boy" be none other than the compact but gifted Arlen Marshall of Quill Lake, Sas?
If so he is quite the player I have seen he many times. I always felt 4-5 more inches and 30-40 more pounds he would have had a much different hockey future. Not that his present state is too Shabby. And to boot he knows how to get under opponents skins to get them a visit to the box.
