East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Sometimes glass glitters brighter than diamonds... because glass has more to prove.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Very small crowd here since RIt left. Half the Cornell crowd that was here for the ecac. Maybe 75 unh fans. Very disappointing

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Disappointing turn out for the night cap. Maybe half the Cornell fans that were here last week. Also maybe 75 unh fans I thought unh travels well. Guess not

Let me be the first Colorado College fan to congrayulate and thank RIT for ending DU's (overrated) season.

As for the next game, I wish UNH and Cornell the best of luck and may the best team win.

You would think that these teams would learn. After Gophers/Holy Cross and the upsets from last year.

I guess not.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

No guarantees they won't go down today as well, but this is why I was so concerned about UW playing well in the Final Five 3rd place game. You just can't go into the tournament playing so poorly and expect to get momentum from a standstill.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

So the RIT band and mascot just walked by the bar. Somebody should tell the one bando that it isn't the 80s, and spiked mohawks didn't look good then, let alone in 2010.

Thanks for the mention ;) My grandma said the same thing :p

Tomorrow it will look better

When Loki dyes the Mohawk orange, he looks like a cross between a Norwegian and an automatic car wash. Two thumbs up for the 'do!!!!!

Agree. I was there back in 2000, I think it was, The BU/St. Cloud four overtime game, waiting for Maine to play the second game, and the place was packed. Figured it would have been the same, with the UHN crowd, and Cornell who you could consider the local team. Guess not.

Anyway, looks like UHN won't be choking this night. Maybe tomorrow. ;)

St. Lawrence, not St. Cloud.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Yep, my bad. St. Cloud was the first round.

I'm old, the games, they all run together now. :(

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Well this sucked.

New York should never be allowed to hold any kind of hockey tournament again. I have never seen a good crowd for a college game.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Looks like Scrivens forgot to bring his glove tonight. Cornell simply can't fall behind - they have zero offensive ability and if Scrivens is off his game which he clearly was tonight, they are toast.

Not to take away from UNH because they played a great game and really took it to Cornell. Really curious to see them tomorrow against RIT.

Not a regional, but the Albany FF was the reason they started the ticket priority number system. It was sold out and many regulars (including me) couldn't get tickets that year. But you're right, the regionals are always empty there.

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Tomorrow is going to be worse. I am guessing 2000. More if unh fans show. But I doubt. They will I realluly thought unh fans travel

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

And how come there were apparently a lot more Cornell fans in town last week than this week?

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

After watching those 2 games have to say I was not impressed with either of the top seeds! UNH played great and took it to them, they looked like how Maine played vs. BU last weekend.

Congrats UNH from this Maine fan. Now the pressure is on as your no underdog tomorrow and should be punching a ticket to Detroit! And shameless plug I have a FF tic ket for sale!

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

To all of the Cornell fans: as far as I could see, UNH played their best game of the year; they were on a mission: they were the immoveable force.
