East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Re: East Regional: #1 Denver v. #4 RIT; #2 Cornell v. #3 New Hampshire

Congrats to RIT.......very impressive tonight. skates, forgive us, with NC losses to Colgate, St Lawrence, Clarkson, Niagara and MN State x 2, I think there were a lot of skeptics. None of that matters now, you got it done when it counts the most, good luck in the Frozen Four!

Nice to see RIT playing with the joy and passion that some perennial NCAA participants seem to be missing. (cough, cough)

The Tigers win today against UNH made me realize that Denver didn't play so poorly, either. RIT is full value for coming in, playing their system, and getting the results. Remarkable performance, and really good for the AHA for closing the game in single elimination tourneys.

I'll make a pick, UHN rolls to Detroit. RIT was great yesterday but they're done

And for the 3rd time in this regional, I would have been wrong had I made a pick. Wacky regional, but congrats to RIT, they earned the wins!

everyone loves Cinderella but her stepsisters, in this case DU and UNH....well done RIT...you skated a great game....good luck in Motown

Well done indeed RIT! You represented your league and Western NY superlatively.

Go Tigers!

Congrats to RIT!

Question, has an AHA team ever made the Frozen Four?

Tip of the cap to RIT here as well. One performance can be a fluke. Back to back performances like that are not. Good luck in Detroit (unless you play BC).

I wasn't sure where to post this so I went with this thread seeing as it involved Albany . When we where out there we went into a Price Chopper store (I think in Latham). I had to use the men's room and as I was standing at the urinal - "Lo and Behold"-there in front of me, in a glass case, was a local newspaper (full spread)with a story about local talent Mike Borisenok(Watervliet) pictured in his UNH uniform.Maybe you had to be there but I was pretty excited about it.:)

Latham?! Is that the town where the Seinfeld characters in their final two episodes were busted for failing Latham's "Duty to Rescue" law?
