It would be nice if the NCHA would release the schedule. I don't think they do a 3rd place game anymore...so I don't know why they would start so late...you would think they would want the game earlier in the day to maximize SNC fan support at both games. At least, barring overtime or something, you could still go to both and just be a little bit late to the men's game :)

Since my primary allegience is to the men, will only be heading to EC.

This is why we can't have nice things. There is no allegience to the women's programs, which is why they continue to dwindle. I fell in love with hockey through the men's game, but liked it more watching the women...I've graduated and move to the f-ing desert (I need to get the **** out of here) and still watch UWS women's hockey online any chance I get. Someone fly me home for the Finals :) :)

Let's not get ahead of ourselves! There's going to be two very tough games on Friday night. That said, the
uscho scoreboard schedule has the Saturday game at 2:05.

One game tonight at the DIII level, in the MIAC:
#5 St. Kates (8-7-3 in conference) #4 Bethel( 11-5-2) 7pm
One month ago they played to a 1-1 tie and then a 3-1 Bethel win.

Thursday night has the winner of the above at #1 Gustavus and
#3 Concordia (11-4-3 in conference is very competitive...LG4) at #2 St. Thomas(13-4-1)
Way back on Nov. 30 UST won 1-0 and then lost to CM the next day 3-1.

Bethel is up 2-1 after the first period. Both teams looked sloppy early, but have picked things up since.
 
St. Kate's scored on a 5-3 to tie it, but Masten scored her second of the game with about two minutes left to put Bethel back up.

Bethel pulls it out 3-2.

No one seems to have told Bethel that Gustavus is unbeaten (and they are not given much chance to win this MIAC semi) as the Royals, although outshot 13-8, are getting better scoring opportunities than the Gusties and leading 1-0 after the 1st. Huss scored on a 2x1 from low in the left wing circle.

Erika Allen is absolutely standing on her head in goal for Bethel! Is it time to issue an Upset Watch (or is it a n Upset Warning?).

Bethel has never beaten Gustavus, but they are on the ice at Don Roberts with a 1-0 lead and less than 20 minutes to go...

Burman makes it 2-0 on a quick rush up the right side, shot from the right circle and follows up with the rebound from the top of the crease.
Gustavus counters with a powerplay goal to cut the lead to 2-1 with 15 minutes left in regulation. Johnson gets the goal off the faceoff.
Gustavus getting another powerpaly.

Wanecke ties things at 2-2 from low in the left circle; looked to be up shortside, stickside.

Relentless Gustavus as Hjelm scores digging the puck under Allen from the top of the crease to make it 3-2 with 4 minutes or so to go.

Great comeback by Gustavus (trailing for only the 3rd time this season!) scoring 3 unanswered goals to win 3-2 and stay unbeaten advancing to the MIAC final.

Concordia gets the 2-1 win over St. Thomas, so it'll be GAC hosting Concordia on Saturday. Should be an interesting game!

And that noticable breeze you felt about 10pm last night was the collective Pool C hopefuls letting out a huge sigh of relief!:D
