Just looking at the box (would have meant staying up past my bedtime to watch) River Falls cannot be too happy needing 4 powerplay goals, pulling a goalie (who surrenderred 4 goals on 12 shots) and letting Eau Clair come back from down 4-1 (on their home ice), but this time of year, a win is a win.

I felt Superior had to win yesterday to advance. I really didnt want to Face SNC in this round. I'm not surprised by this result as we all knew St Norbert didnt play up to their potential until about 12 games ago. I'd watch out for them next weekend.

MIAC Playoffs are set:
1. Gustavus
2. St. Thomas
3. Concordia
4. Bethel
5. St. Kate's

Tuesday will be St. Kates at Bethel

Thursday has Concordia at St. Thomas
and the St. Kate's/Bethel winner at Gustavus.

Wow. I was hoping somehow SNC would stay on their roll and take a step forward by winning a series. I didn't anticipate a couple of other upsets and a home game for the Knights in the semis. Way to go ladies! I'd thought about heading to Eau Claire Saturday but I just might have to stay in Green Bay to watch the ladies play.

They don't run it like the men's play offs. All games are going to be at River Falls next Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.

The championship game has generally been at 2pm, I believe...so hypothetically you could go watch SNC/River Falls in the title game at 2 and then head over to Eau Claire for the men's game :)

Thanks for the correction. This is the first time I've really had a reason to pay attention to the NCHA women's playoffs. A couple of us were dicussing that yesterday and we weren't sure. This site doesn't really make it clear how it lists it. That was a lot of fun the few years they did the men's tournament like that. I have to do some coaching on Saturday so it looks like I'll be watching online if things go well.

That would be the plan, if the Lady Knights keep winning!!

Now heard that the title game will start @ 4:05 on Saturday.
