College Football 2022: “Here’s a twenty, bury two.”

I quite agree that every Power 5 team and Notre Dame is "college" in name only. These are professional teams using academic institutions as a fig leaf. None of them belong in the NCAA.

But, there are still degrees, and as ugly and gross and hypocritical as Michigan is -- and is it ever -- they are still virgin pure when compared with the dog sh-t of the SEC.
Has anyone checked on how the ESPN producers are coping with no SEC team? They were really pumping Texas’ tires last night and would’ve undoubtedly marketed them as “a future SEC team”.

I should check the ticket market for sales. Bet a bunch of Texas and Alabama fans had already bought tickets for the Championship Game.

BTN should be hyping the daylights out of the game. It's probably a future B1G championship game.

Is ESPN ok?

if a national title game occurs with no sec teams, did it really happen?
Finebaum and Herbstreit about to argue that Georgia deserves to be in the National Championship Game over Washington or Michigan because Georgia passes the eye test or something over one of them.

Edit: It’s the first time since 2014 with no SEC team in the championship game. Ironically it was Ohio State and Oregon that year.

Finebam already said that- or something close to it. But then with the caveat that they blew their chance.

Each one of the four teams deserved it. Though, I still think OSU had a strong case. But they flushed that down the toilet.
