UNLV has a shot at going to the Mountain West championship game for the first time by beating San Jose State at home next Sat. The championship game is played at Allegiant Stadium in LV. Lose and they could be involved in a 4 way tie with one of the teams being SJ St.

On a side note, if Washington doesn't move ahead of Fla St into 4th in the polls there's something seriously wrong.
Washington went of the road and beat 11-Oregon State. Fla St stayed at home and pounded Cupcake U(3-8 North Alabama).

Washington moved into fourth in the AP Poll at least. Just remains to be seen where the CFP Rankings put them. I’d say they should probably be at least third considering they’ve had three straight wins over teams that were ranked in the Top 20 at the time (USC, Utah, and Oregon State).

As far a I'm concerned, both just have to win out. Whoever loses here in Ann Arbor Saturday should be out if they both win out.

After that, as long as you are in, you have a chance.

The fans are welcome to complain about a 3 or 4 seed. But win and you are in, and that is the most important thing.

And if they lose in the championship games for their conference- then the debate gets really heated between the OSU/UM loser.

If the Pac-12 Championship game is Washington v Oregon and Oregon wins (knock on wood), it'd be very difficult to keep those two out considering the Pac-12 is arguably stronger than the B1G this year.

If they are faced against a zero loss B1G team, I don't think it matters. And if it's vs. UGa, FSU, and UM/OSU- for sure, only one gets in. And then the loser of the UM/OSU game has a legit argument to be part of the conversation.

But that's not up to me, and it really only matters after the next two weekends of football. Not now, for sure.

It'll be really easy because ESPN is pushing the "Alabama beats Georgia and there's 2 teams right there."

Awesome

What a final two minutes. Clock snafu leaving 12 more seconds on the clock. Two interceptions. Iowa breaks out for a 25 yard run to get into field goal range. Then Kirk decides to put in the backup senior kicker for his first kick of the year to walk it off.
