Awesome

For one of the highlight, they were bragging on the Iowa kicker- apparently he has more kicking yards than the offense has yards. That’s a stat that cost someone a job.

Michigan St 2nd half drives

3 plays, -13 yards

5 plays, 1 yard

3 plays, 1 yard

3 plays, -11 yards

3 plays, -19 yards

3 plays, -2 yards

3 plays, -4 yards

I would not be surprised if that doesn't happen in games a fair amount. At 40-yards per punt, you need 6 to out-distance a lame offensive effort. Iowa averaged 240 offensive yards per game this year -- with deviation that means a few games even under 200, which would be 5 punts.

So, not common, but surely not freakishly rare.

OTOH, if you meant the punter out-distanced the offense for the season, which seems possible... then, yeah, that's stunningly inept.

Edit: it is for the season. But, get this: Iowa has also held its opponents to fewer yards total offense than punting for the season.

Washington, Oregon, USC, and UCLA are going to be very confused next year.

I suppose the good news for the rest of the B1G is that Penix, Nix, and Williams will all be gone next season.

Noooooooooooooooooo! Don't give the scum a chance to win it. FFS, does nobody learn from history?!

M is always flaccid.

You tried your absolute best to give it away. Georgia is going to win its two games by > 100 points.

Osu did try to play a good game. And taking so long to run that last drive…

Besides, need to score 17 against Iowa before we worry about Georgia.

Guess it wasn't a walk in : ) Auburn is going to be thinking about that gag job for a long time

Pac 12 is guaranteed a spot now. It’ll be 12-1 Oregon or 13-0 Washington as champs next week.

If you go by the one loss rule, the following teams are still eligible:

Georgia
Michigan
OSU
Florida State
Washington
Oregon
Alabama
Texas

OSU is probably on the outside looking in after today’s results. SEC and Pac 12 are guaranteed a one loss champ. Even if Michigan loses next week they’ll be in over OSU.

To still have a shot they need:
FSU to probably lose both tonight and next week. At least next week.
And then they’d need Oklahoma State to beat Texas to take out the Big 12.
And a one loss UGA makes it over them, so really they need UGA to either lose tonight and next week or beat Bama to avoid two SEC teams.
Probably need Washington to win next week too just to stop them from comparing resumes with another one loss team.

Georgia
Michigan
Pac 12
FSU/Texas/Bama/OSU

If UGA, Michigan, UW, and FSU win out, it would be the least controversial playoffs.
