Bow Down To Washington!

Honestly I think Oregon was a better team, but Washington beat them twice and you can't deny that. UW was a dropped pass away from losing to Stanford, the same 3-9 Stanford that lost to Sacremento State, while Oregon rolled right through us. And I think there was some stat where among common opponents UW won on average by 9 and Oregon by 27; but you can't take extra points with you, so hats off to UW.

Liberty is 13-0. Is there any possible chance they aren't guilty of comical levels of violations and corruption? It would be on brand.

Their best wins are against NMSU twice at home. Their strength of schedule is dead last on ESPN. There's a reason Tulane's getting a higher ranking for playing Ole Miss, even if they lost. And Tulane's schedule isn't even that good ranked at 110.

They're #20 and they exist to be a cash cow for the Taliban. I'm sure they make Les Miles look like Pop Warner.

Not too along ago, I met a woman who played club hockey for Liberty. Because they are private and rich, apparently they will pay players (tuition, equipment, ice time) to play ACHA for them, which is big since most club players are paying to play.

The kicker? She's a lesbian. Hockey was fun, but her sex life for 4 years, not so much.

She's a women's hockey player. Of course she's a lesbian.

Anyway, I'm sure Liberty is stuffed full of closeted LGBTQ, like the GOP and Catholic clergy and every other conservative institution. That level of fear and fascination only comes from strong personal feelings. The Right is obsessed with homosexuality and pedophilia for a reason.

I don't know how common it is, but that's not the first time I've heard of schools giving scholarships for club sports. Davenport gave them for hockey before their move to the NCAA. Their hockey is still only club level ACHA so they may still have that arrangement.

It really doesn't make sense why Liberty isn't NCAA for hockey. 4,000 seat arena and flush with cash.

Well, UAA played them last season in Vegas and crushed them 9-1.

Florida State might be starting a 3rd string RS freshman QB tonight as the backup might've been concussed last Saturday at Florida, so don't be putting all your eggs in that basket.

With Texas winning that puts another team into the mix.

Currently in contention:
1. Georgia 12-0
2. Michigan 12-0
3. Washington 13-0
4. Florida State 12-0
5. Texas 12-1
6. Alabama 11-1

UGA/Mich/FSU I think it stays status quo.
UGA/Mich/Louisville makes it UGA vs Texas, Michigan vs Washington
UGA/Iowa/FSU makes it UGA vs FSU, Washington vs Texas
UGA/Iowa/Louisville should make it UGA vs Michigan, Washington-Texas, but I think they'll change it to get a traditional Rose Bowl

Bama winning is where things start to get interesting. In the past the pecking order has always been 0-1 losses, then conference champ, but would Georgia really drop out of the top four from #1? And would Bama move into the playoff from #8?

If Bama wins the SEC by beating UGA I can't see the CFP Committee leaving them out. Having no SEC team in the CFP would cause a meltdown. It would be hilarious, but it would be ugly.

My favorite situation would be UGA, Mich, and FSU losing then watching as people bend over backwards to explain why Washington shouldn't be #1.

Oklahoma not even putting up a fight in the Steers and Queers Bowl was disappointing.

It looks like I am balls deep for UW.
