Cornell and Dartmouth in Hanover this afternoon:

I've always imagined an Ivy League football game to be a bunch of bro-nerds apologizing for hitting each other.

Sitting here watching the Gophers put the finishing touches on a loss to...Purdue?!

Might be time to buy out PJ. Seems he's rowed the boat hard aground.

Did I also hear that regents wanted to explore leaving BIG if the conference levied punishment against harbaugh before the ncaa did? Lol ok then, leave

I think the CCHA could be kind and give the hockey team a soft landing spot, ha ha ha ha ha...

Them actually having the balls to bail would be some glorious chaos as the other Power-5's trip over themselves to accommodate them...

No, it's anything but. "Ivy" football players go to "Cornell" and "Dartmouth." They may not be as dumb as the ones at Large Midwestern University, but they're no smarter than our legacy and "development" admittees.

Think JFK or Dubya.

Though FtB&G might be somewhat accurate with sprint football.

So they major in business or hospitality (Cornell only, obv) rather than phys ed. ;-)

I guess that makes sense. With daddy's trust fund, they don't need a scholie and are guaranteed a Wall Street job (or MBB analyst for the rejects).

It's typically Bidness or Finance.

At Cornell there is also, famously, Hotel Administration and Agricultural Economics.

Here's $76mil; go away.

Texas A&M is expected to fire football coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday morning. Fisher will be owed $76 million upon his firing, according to sources, which is a record amount of a buyout paid to a head coach. That number is more than double the known buyout paid to a fired college head coach.
