College Football 2021: Cash is King

Seems like it does matter for long term heath, on average, to have an easy game near the end of the season.

For the good team, yes. I read somewhere, though, that these gimme games are very rough health-wise for the bad team. A safety who usually goes up against smaller FCS receivers is now having to ram into larger FBS RBs who manage to break through the front seven 20 or so times per game. In general a bit of a different size/speed mismatch than they are used to. A bit of a different ordeal.

So Oregon is asking UCLA to talk to Chip Kelly.

Given his performance in LA, if I were UCLA, I'd jump all over the chance to get someone new- Kelly isn't who he used to be, and I can't see him having success like he did before at Oregon. For the most part, the rules he took advantage of (fast substitutions) are no longer legal. So for his old speed game to work, he'd have to get his team a whole lot more fit. And that's been reflected in his team at UCLA.

Since Luke Fickel is still available, UCLA can wait until Cincinnati is done.

Likewise, to help you guys get a bit more Christmas Cash, here are the Bowl teams I will be rooting for. Put your money down accordingly.

Oregon d. Oklahoma, Alamo
Arizona State d. Wisconsin, Las Vegas
Cincinnati d. Alabama, Cotton
Notre Dame d. Oklahoma State, Fiesta
Cincinnati/Giant Meteor d. Michigan/SEC, NC$$ final
