College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Officials seemed a little questionable, but that's not why State lost. If they wouldn't have turned it over every other possession and not missed six free throws in the second half, they probably win by 10.

Oh well, Congrats to Butler, take down Coach K or Huggins please.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Helluva game. I'm amazed that Butler won it, seeing as how they hadn't made a shot since the Eisenhower administration.

Anybody but Huggins, please. I'd like to have my collegiate programs, you know, graduate someone from time to time.

And on the other side is the pukies with Coach Kryzisanasswithanegothesizeofcalifornia so......go refs.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Coach K doesn't bother me anymore. I'd rather see him win for no other reason than to get him closer to running right past Coach Chair Chucker for the most wins all-time.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

sucky game by State and Butler. us Spartan fans are sad, but recovering.

go Butler!! beat whoever.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

I am forced to root for Duke because a Butler vs. West Virginia final would be just as excited as watching paint dry. The over/under would be 60.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Well looks like Duke is opening a bit of a lead here, up ten on WVU.

If Duke wins, I'm rooting for Butler. Entertainment be ****ed.

That's a technical?

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Nope, it went against them. Now Zoubek with an obvious foul and yet it's called an offensive foul and Butler has gotten hurt.

That call was ludicrous.

In the words of former Providence and Virginia coach Pete Gillen...

"Certainly Duke is Duke. There on more than Leave It to Beaver reruns."

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Man, Duke really didn't deserve their number 1 did they?

No one said they didn't deserve their number 1. But did they deserve the easiest bracket with what should have gone to Kansas or Kentucky? Of course not.

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

Butler vs. Duke

This has to be the whitest championship game in a long time!

Re: College Basketball 2009-10: The Road to the Road to Lucas Oil

For the love of everything that is right in sports...

Please Butler...Beat Duke.

Butler's coach needs to raise the subject of hand checks to the refs before the game. Also, if Duke is going to wave their hand in the players face to disrupt passing then you need to go up for the shot right into that hand and get some early fouls.

I fear it is a blowout if the game is played as physically as the Duke-WVA game.
