Congratulations everyone. One of the choices for Secretary of State is Newt. That's so awesome.

And Rudy wants Trump to go after Hillary. Awesome.

He needs to do more than that...he needs to openly speak out and fast. The stories are piling up about what is going on out there. He and the GOP leadership need to get out in front of this now or it could get out of control.

And it cant be his handlers, it cant be the GOP leadership it needs to be him. These people were emboldened by him and his rhetoric and either he calls an end to it or we might actually see all out war in the country. People are scared...even here in Minneapolis people are freaked out about what is happening. People will only deal with this so much something will spark a much worse reaction...

Knowing the Party in question...all social services, all safety nets, the NEA, Dept of Ed, NASA, Anything Science related...etc.

Meanwhile they will INCREASE defense, balloon up the TSA and Homeland Security, give the FBI and NSA a blank check and probably cut taxes while doing it.

There is a reason even conservative think tanks said Trump would add trillions to do the debt on policy alone...

Great then stop complaining. If you dont care you should have nothing to say about it. Problem is you DO care you are just angry. That is good, anger is good. You have two choices though you can be part of the problem or part of the solution. You want to be part of the solution great there is a lot of things locally that we can do to help. (I have never been engaged in State Politics but I sure as hell will be now!) If you dont fine, then shut up and get out of the way. You have every right to be cynical and angry but dont get in the way of others who want to try and fix the problem...cause then you are worse than the disease.

You're missing it.
If you walk in and talk down to someone they resent you.
If you offer someone in need help (like a medic for a burnt hand) you've started to gain influence.
You don't have to do or say anything more than offer the help when they're in need and you're on the path to a win.

Call them a < bleep > and you're through before you start.

Basic communication skills. Con men dont take you for all your money because they shout down to you...its cause they can see what you want and read what you desire. They instill CONFIDENCE in you. The GOP is masterful at knowing what people want and convincing them they have the answer and the other side is evil and is screwing them by wasting it on the [insert group here]. You dont counter that by shouting at said person "what are you stupid?!?!"

With farm subsidies, ag zoning classification for reduced property taxes, etc., rural economies are the most socialized in the country, aren't they? I don't begrudge any of that, but the "leave me alone" mantra has always rung a little hollow to me. And I am disposed to that kind of lifestyle myself and lived in a rural "off the grid" culture for a period of my life.

Currently though I am trying not to throw up reading about the stuff being down to minorities and gays in this country...hell in this state. This is not ok...the Right needs to address this and now. No fake platitudes, not "oh it isnt as bad as you think" they need to stand up and tell these people to back down and act American. This is Nazi level stuff and that is not hyperbole. America cant last 4 years of this...

Remember the old adage "your subsidies are bad, mine are legit!". Realize a lot of these people dont get the irony of the things they say.
