Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

If the cops dont care why do you?

Because it's the law. And I stated why I don't think the cops "care."

If you truly believe in something, you'll pay the price for your actions, and it's become common in these protests, that the protesters break the law, and nothing comes of it. It's shameful.

Oh, there's an unbiased source! They should gave broken down the deaths among MurderDeathKill, suicide, and accident. A plain number is misleading.

Many of the murder, many of them suicide, many of them accident. Guns and deaths are related. So no, from that standpoint those are exactly the numbers you want.

If your claim is that the numbers are wrong...show how. http://www.vpc.org/press/states-wit...ion-in-gun-deaths-new-data-for-2014-confirms/

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXV: Fin

I'm sorry the picture is coming into clearer view, but this is what I was talking about.

A few weeks ago, we were talking about Erik Paulsen, who basically puts the generic in 'generic Republican'. I said I disagree with him on almost everything, but I wouldn't think someone that supported him was a bad person. At the presidential level, same goes for Romney, McCain, W(more or less, at least the first time), Dole, and Bush 41, in my lifetime.

This was different. It was not Republican vs. Democrat. It was a test of fascism and hatred against our American ideals, and anyone that didn't do what they could to stop it failed those people you're seeing hurt today. I'm not willing to let them off the hook for that for some hope of political gain.

LOUD NOISES!! guy in that video said we didn't talk enough about the issues. BS. This is the issue. The value of our citizenship should always be the #1 issue, and its' value is cheapened when it isn't applied fairly and equally. We talked about it a lot, too many people just didn't care.

And I agree with you...what you arent understanding is I am talking about how Liberals can get the people back. Say what you like but a lot of voters are single issue voters and can be swayed by the direction of the wind, but if you go around saying they are all racist and evil you are guaranteeing they will never veer from their course.

In the real world I am 100% behind what you and Scooby say and I feel the same way. But in the world of politics that attitude keeps you in the minority. You can acknowledge the evil without saying the evil is in everyone. There are ways to show people the evil of their ways without yelling at them "Shut Up and F You!!". All that does is strengthen their resolve.

The Progressives arent going to get power back by shouting down everyone else. It doesnt work that way...

Here is the thing though...what is happening now is a litmus test for all the people on that side of the aisle. Condemn the evil and fight against to prove you arent part of the problem. If you stay silent then your actions truly are worthy of condemnation. This isnt just Trump bloveating anymore, this is civil unrest mixed with bigotry that hasnt been seen in this country in my lifetime. And this is Day 2. Trump showed his true colors by tweeting it was the media's fault...lots of his supporters showed theirs by wanting the people run over, tear gassed or locked away/kicked out. The rest though...they can make a difference here if they want to.

But the cops are choosing not to arrest them. It isnt like the people are fighting the cops stopping arrests, the cops have made the choice to let them vent and be done with it. Should the protesters just citizen arrest each other since the cops arent so then they can serve their punishment?

You arent making any sense...to be punished the cops have to physically arrest them. They didnt, so the protesters have no price to pay. Dont like it...sign up, get a badge and arrest them yourself.

(here is a hint, the cops obviously dont think it is egregious to warrant throwing them in jail...I will bet they know more than you or I do on the subject)

As I said before, if the cops start arresting people, a minor part of the protesters will start sh*. There were fires in the streets of CA last night, and objects thrown....

The cops are not arresting people because of that potential, and I don't think it's right, once the protesters start blocking highways. The protesters HAVE a price to pay, the city/state just isn't charging them. And I'm mad about that.

It's like one of our favorite movies, when Wyatt says "Let them sleep it off" and Virgil says, "They're breaking the law." Well, these protesters are breaking the law.

The only way this could more delicious is if he picked the actual JP Morgan for the job.

Jamie Dimon...the guy who the media and the banks played up as the ultimate "good guy" during the Crisis, who was ripping people off just as much as anyone else. Him running Treasury is akin to putting a Climate Denier in charge of the EPA transition team...oh wait...

Trump's administration is going to make Dubya's look like Lincoln's Team of Rivals.

Maybe the Russian Diplomat reveal will lead to impeachment...
