There are ads here? I never see them. I have the most incredible neural net processor ever discovered by man exquisitely tuned to filter them out.

The way the Adsense algorithm works is by looking at other recent searches or purchases you've made and serving up ads related to those. That's why I am looking at ads for hotels, airlines and computer accessories.

Why pay? He's living rent free in all the *******'s heads! BANG POW! highfive.gif (insert meme here)

ETA: Mental note to fix the ****ing adsense filter after work tonight.
ETA2: I'm so efficient I did it while working :) All better now.

Fuck
fucky fuck fucked

Ads are all over this site but if thats how the site funds itself so be it. I've never seen anything lewd on here??? I have battery ads and tool ads.

Wrong. Not if you use private relays, block cookies, and random hardware addresses. This is the only site I see those ads. Most of the time I get monoprice, Amazon, tech, alcohol, travel, or other relevant ads. But not this site. Just scantily clad women.

You can actually click into your profile and see ehy it was served. It doesn't have a profile for me. It says this is a general sports site, forum. So therefore everyone is an incel.

So Elon thinks the reason he was roundly booed at the Chapelle show is because of a "woke mind virus."

Suddenly it becomes clear why he wants to put a microchip in everyone's brain. So we will all cheer and applaud and adore him 24/7. Ironic that many of his devotees think Bill Gates wanted to use the Coronavirus vaccine to chip everyone and they hate him for it but the guy they worship actually does want to microchip them and they love him all the more for it.

Elon has also gone back on his word and blocked the Twitter account that tracked his private jet despite telling the kid he wouldn't.

(Also claimed that it was a personal risk to have that info exposed, but wanted to keep the account active. The irony is dually noted.)

The real interesting thing is that a few other flight tracker Twitter accounts were also suspended. Accounts that tracked the Russian Oligarchs airplanes.

Things that make you go "Hmmmmmmmmmm......"

It's all public information. You can literally go to any of the major trackers and do this. You can even have them email you for alerts on a plane.

The Iranian protesters have apparently begun withdrawing their savings and buying gold en masse as part of a plan to destabilize the economy and pressure the middle class to demand a new government.

I was wondering: if say an unabashed Nazi government took over the US, and 60% of the population was against it, what would happen if everyone started dumping their dollars and buying anything else -- other currencies, precious metals, property, whatever. Could we as a people sink the dollar? Would that be an effective way to fight our own government?

Musk banned the account that tracked his jet under new rules...rules he is now violating by attempting to dox people and trying to get his psychos to go after them.

General strike. The world would shut down in about a week.

It's one of those things that may work on paper, but, in society, it won't go anywhere for a while.

It would be impossible to live your life here without spending dollars.

Yea, I guess that is true. I wonder how the Iranians think they can pull it off. Maybe there is a robust underground economy and/or barter system.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of the US economy is the day to day subsistence of human beings (food, heat, bills, mortgages) as opposed to investment, savings, and luxuries. It would also be interesting to trend line that.

I wonder how much of the economy actually serves people, as distinct from serving wealth. 50%? 10%? <1%? When the middle class and poor protect property they are thinking in terms of human needs. The rich hide their fortunes behind this deliberate obfuscation, like Agribusiness hiding behind the "family farm," or assault rifles behind a handgun for self-protection, or political bribery behind free speech.

I would have to think that basic needs are a significant chunk of the economy. The grocery segment alone had $766 Billion in sales in the USA in 2021. That's just a single branch on the Retail tree.

Given the sanctions I would have to imagine there is a decent underground economy.

And dx is right, a general strike would solve things pretty quickly. Look how hard they fought to stop the railroads from shutting down. Granted that is a gigantic branch on the supply chain tree, but that’s only 115k people.
