Someone else mentioned that theory as well. I hadn't ever considered it seriously. It is starting to get lonely on the list of possible explanations.

I think aparch posted it here, it has been circling Twitter for a while. It wasn't really believable though until now. He was just starting to get advertisers back and he basically holds up a sign saying "Hey EU, come get us!" and then went full Qucumber. I know he isn't a genius, but he isn't that stupid either.

I see Twitter's existence as a benefit for bad actors. It's so useful for disseminating misinformation to the moron armies. That's the reason I don't buy the conspiracy theory.

I think Elon is just a fool. I can absolutely see a bad actor coordinating with him on taking control of it. But he's fucking it up because he spectacularly overvalues his intuitions. It's Dunning-Kruger.

He is definitely a fool, and he has always been evil (it was just ignored ask Tesla workers) but this is more than just a fool acting the fool. He isn't Trump who is so out of his depth he acts like Don King to make himself seem larger than life and smarter than he is. Elon is torching his own image along with his company and he is doing it out in the open and seems to be reveling in it. It is almost like a pathological need to show the world what he has been hiding all this time. (like Serial Killers who just can't help but find a way to get caught so they can be honored for what they did) I mean the guy who worships science is attacking...science.

Its weird because it is the exact opposite of everyone else who is that rich. Usually they go "Lex Luthor" on the way up and try and fix their image through philanthropy and such. (the Bill Gates/Jeff Bezos model) He started out as the guy who was going to use tech and his vast resources to save the world and now he is actively trying to destroy it. He went with the Joe Rogan model...

I'm losing faith in the idea that he's not stupid. Money buys you an assload of leeway in the animal kingdom. You give a sloth an RPG and even the lion thinks twice.

I know I've said it many times, but someone on earth is likely to flip a coin heads 30 times in a row. It could be an idiot with a 15-flip apartheid head start.

Meanwhile in England, pay ?1000 just to view an apartment. If you decide you don't want it, the landlord keeps your money. And don't even think about offering the asking price for a rental. Add at least ?200-500 per month.
