Business, Economics, and Taxes: Capitalism. Yay? >=(

I would have to think that basic needs are a significant chunk of the economy. The grocery segment alone had $766 Billion in sales in the USA in 2021. That's just a single branch on the Retail tree.

But is that $766B the final leg with stores selling to human beings for their personal consumption, or does it include interim steps of suppliers and distributers selling to each other?

The US economy is $25T. So $0.766T is not that much.

Not just publicly available elsewhere, but virtually every plane over America blasts it out continuously and you can buy a $25 dongle to receive it.

Yup. And as of last night the crybaby hadn't banned the accounts that track Zuck, Bezos and others.

He might have had a point banning the original account (at least an argument) but banning the media who reported it is not only childish but is likely what will get him in trouble. Even when Twitter was shadowbanning the Biden Laptop conspiracy (in their words) they weren't banning the journalists who were reporting on it...otherwise there would be no journalists on Twitter!

I'm not even sure "melting down" is the correct term anymore...he is imploding in real time.

To be consistent since Twitter is a private company and not the US Government he can ban whoever he wants. The hypocrisy is the problem here.

This. Exactly.

We all understand that it's a private company and they can censor who they want. It's the way Musk has gone about it that we're pointing out.

Oh yeah he is well within his rights...he is just being ridiculous about it. And there are governing bodies that will look at what he is doing and be critical and may take action. Like the EU)

This is not how a "genius" and "free speech protector" act.

Especially since his big beef was the selective censoring of the previous regime which has been proven false anyways...

Even if you accept that it did happen, that was political and often based on misinformation...this is personal and based on him being overly sensitive to people not liking him. Sure he can do it but no one besides his Yes Men think it is a good idea.

Low probability, but man this would explain Musk's freak out over his plane

Someone geo-located the scene of the stalking incident he posted as proof of why Musk needed to censor the flight tracker account.... it was taken at an Arco gas station in South Pasedena a day after Musks plane landed at LAX.

From what I gathered from the follow up Tweets, even if it was the same day, those two locations couldn't have been related anyway because of the time distance between the two locations (24 miles, or roughly an hour).
