Nah the other side would be tracking hom (or could at any time) they wouldn't need that info. He did this because of the Chappelle deal and the backlash to everything he says. When he bought Twitter he thought it would go way different and now all the mistakes and bad habits he hid for so long are front and center with a massive spotlight.

He went from a celebrated eccentric gadfly to slumlord dbag and wasted $44 billion doing it. He is crashing Tesla (insert joke here) over this and is going to trash Twitter just to spite everyone.

The real test of which social network will replace Twitter is to see which one supports the sex worker community.

OnlyFans welcomed them when Patreon "cleaned house."
Twitter silently let them post pictures and links when Facebook (and Instagram when FB bought them), Tumblr, and other sites shunned them.

It's been a long tradition to let the "seedier" group drive technology. It's why we have VHS over Betamax, Blu-Ray over HD-DVD.

Funny enough, VHS over Betamax lead to Blu-Ray over HD-DVD. Sony learned it’s lesson with Betamax and applied it to Blu-Ray decades later.
