Overbay signed with the Red Sox.
I realize that we do know their names, but this rotation still makes me think of this (warning: nsfw language):Today's article from the JS - says the rotation is Gallardo, someone, someone, someone, Estrada.
Gonzalez will back up Gamel at first while Hart is out. I really like re-signing him. They can start him if they need to, otherwise he's a good, experienced backup and mentor for Segura.

I don't think we can ever count on him to be a regular contributor. Next man up...I guess.Mat Gamel out for season. Does that guy have the worst luck, or what?

Reading that Carlos Gomez...
Here's to hoping Taylor Green takes complete advantage one of his road blocks to playing time has completely fallen apart for him. I was thrilled that he wasn't involved in some of the prospect packages (He was mentioned as a possible PTBNL in the Sabathia trade) of the last few years but we shall see if he can finally succeed when given a real chance (if he's given that).Reading that Carlos Gomez backed out of the WBC made me a little panicky, but they said he just wants to concentrate on the season.
Names mentioned as possible 1B: Bobby Crosby, Taylor Green, Hunter Morris, Sean Halton, Alex Gonzalez. That's not a great list, but hopefully Hart comes back quickly.
I like TG a lot but he hasn't proven he can hit consistently.
Is he going to have the job full time now or are they planning on another platoon?
I hope to see him out there every day.
