Only hours away from a potentially promising season. Get in and call your shot early. I'm saying 89-73 and wrapping up the division from the Reds on the 3rd from last day of the season.

It's tough for me to say the Brewers are going to finish ahead of Cincinnati. But it certainly should come down to the end of the season.

Unfortunately, only one of them is getting in to the playoffs since the wild card looks to be in the NL East.

I am so excited for baseball to return.

Not gonna make a prediction. I am, as always, cautiously optimistic. More optimistic than last year, since they actually made key, season-changing moves instead of just getting Randy Wolf and Doug Davis.

I think just about everyone is picking the Reds to win the division.

I see no reason, other than injury, that 90 wins is unreasonable. The O is basically the same personel wise and the starting pitching is much, much improved.

At this point I'd probably say each division has 2 teams that could challenge for the post-season: Philly and ATL in the East, Mil and CIN in the Central, SF and COL in the West. Florida and San Diego could surprise but I don't know that they'll have the horses, especially San Diego without Gonzelez.

Wow, Major League Baseball found a way to ruin my summer...I have all the equipment to watch mlb.tv on my tv up here where I will be stuck for most of the summer (Virginia, MN) and somehow I'm blacked out of Brewers games. What a ****ing joke :(

Really, if McGehee would have thrown to first instead of trying to make the tag, Axford may not have even faced Hernandez. So it was a team effort. I still have faith in Axford - didn't feel that anyone in the bullpen looked that great.

I would LOVE to see Rickie Weeks continue where he left off last season. So far, so good.

I only caught a few minutes Sunday of the entire opening series and each time I flipped to the game, the Reds were scoring. Hopefully, this team will get their act together soon.

I wasn't expecting the game I'll be at to be the Crew's possible first win this season. :eek:

I can't believe I'll get to see Lowe vs Yo either.

I will have the jinx, I mean fiancé with tomorrow. Time to break the curse where the Brewers don't win in the regular season with her in attendance*.


*They won when she had a standing room only ticket... Maybe I should pick one up at the gate tomorrow...
