Who are these guys impersonating the Brewers on defense?! Lots of great plays tonight without which we'd have been staring at an L. Nice work boys.
can't remember the last time every ticket window was open and there was a line at every one, and on a weekday.
[The Brewers] are devastating at home — a major league-best 45-15 through Monday's win over the Dodgers, which marked the first in 100-plus years of big-league baseball that a team pulled off a triple play, hit three home runs and threw a shutout.
My thoughts exactly. At least it turned out okay in the end.Jerry Hairston does not belong in Centerfield!?!!?! WTF RRR, why wasn't Tony Plush in there for defense in the 8th with a 1 run lead.
It appears that he wasn't because of wanting to use Tony for the pitchers spot in the 9th...it worked. He could have just as easily double switched plush/krod for hairston/saito.My thoughts exactly. At least it turned out okay in the end.
Lopez looked downright inconvenienced by being out there. Disappointing he seems to have lost it because he as a quality contributor only a couple of seasons ago and the swift decline is kind of surprising considering there are several guys older than he is on the team.Felipe Lopez designated for assignment.
First there was Bambi's Bombers, then there was Harvey's Wallbangers, now the SWAT Team?
Call 'em what you want but I don't know if there could ever be a better nickname than Harvey's Wallbangers![]()
That sure was ugly. You could tell RR was just waving the white flag but putting FDLC in there and having no one else up in the pen. That's fine, I guess. A split was great when I was looking ahead at the schedule last month, though this recent hot streak had been feeling greedy. Cards lost to Dodgers so we actually picked up a 1/2 game tonight. Is the second game retro night by chance? I swear I just saw the 2002 Brewers play in the 7th inning.
