Who are these guys impersonating the Brewers on defense?! Lots of great plays tonight without which we'd have been staring at an L. Nice work boys.

woohoo! I am going to St. Louis for the September series. :) Tickets were still available - seems to me The Best Fans in Baseball would've sold out those games already. :p

I went to Miller Park yesterday to get tickets for the last home game - can't remember the last time every ticket window was open and there was a line at every one, and on a weekday. Usually if I go on a Monday morning, just 1 or 2 windows are open, and there's maybe 1 person there.

Greinke vs. Nathan Eovaldi tonight - just the kind of kid that has given the Brewers fits in the past.

This team is kind of ridiculous right now. If they're in the same position in a month, I will be very happy. Suddenly the season seems WAY too long. ;)

Well, a 6-1 homestand ain't too shabby. Hopefully, the offense picks it up soon. Our pitching can't hold everyone down forever. On to NY...we face Cappy on Saturday and the knuckleballer Dickey on Sunday.

Jerry Hairston does not belong in Centerfield!?!!?! WTF RRR, why wasn't Tony Plush in there for defense in the 8th with a 1 run lead.

pretty good game, since we went to Miller during the 06 F4 my kid has turned into a rabid Brewers fan, he's lovin' this

First there was Bambi's Bombers, then there was Harvey's Wallbangers, now the SWAT Team?

Call 'em what you want but I don't know if there could ever be a better nickname than Harvey's Wallbangers :)

Nice to see the Crew bounce right back twice this weekend after surrendering late leads. Hopefully, the DH tomorrow in Pittsburgh goes well tomorrow. Recent memory of DH's doesn't look very good. Narveson in the opener (unless he injures himself before then), Greinke in the nightcap.

Lopez looked downright inconvenienced by being out there. Disappointing he seems to have lost it because he as a quality contributor only a couple of seasons ago and the swift decline is kind of surprising considering there are several guys older than he is on the team.

And I would agree Harvey's Wallbangers was an awesome name. Since I was about 11 or 12 back then I didn't know for several more years where that came from.

That sure was ugly. You could tell RR was just waving the white flag but putting FDLC in there and having no one else up in the pen. That's fine, I guess. A split was great when I was looking ahead at the schedule last month, though this recent hot streak had been feeling greedy. Cards lost to Dodgers so we actually picked up a 1/2 game tonight.

Estrada tomorrow, Marcum on Wednesday.
