So I was looking at upcoming games to check on game times/travel, etc. The game at RPI is at 3:30?? What a weird time for a game.

Interesting. I've long enjoyed fantasy glory without any former eagles gracing my team. No Habs either. Come to think of it, I won't ever roster a Jet, Laker, or Yankee either. Just can't do it.

I have 3 fantasy teams, so it's hard to avoid forever. Schneider on one team and Gionta on another. However, I have Shattenkirk in my prospect pool, almost time to call him up.

yup. mookie, memory like an elephant.

why just 30 minutes ago i was talking to two guys who played at the olympic club last weekend. we were talking about all the holes and what we shot on each. they had a great time. one of them then says, "when did you play out there?"
"hmmm.." i pause- "i think my oldest son was 1, so it would have been 10+ years ago."

But elephants don't play golf...I'm confused....and if it wasn't so difficult I'd add a confused smilie right now....so I'm even more confused

Fantastic game tonight. What a difference from the snoozefest that was Lowell. High speed, edgy play throughout. Great energy in the crowd. It was a pleasure watching Nyquist and Coyle. Yay.

What the heck was up with the scoreboard tonight? It had Clendenning with a penalty and as a second BU player when only one BU player was in the box. There was another issue with the penalty clock as well.

Trying... TRYING... it's hard... we have a huge section this year with a lot of new people and stopping Bull**** tonight was absolutely impossible even on plays where the call was blatantly correct... will try harder next week!

I like hockey. Maine is fast as hell. Millan not being in the three stars was highway robbery. Our guys have heart this year and play like it. This was not present at all last season. For a group made up of lots of young kids to play at this level in early november is very promising, despite some miscue. Both teams are **** good and looked like they were playing a game in march tonight. If they continue to play at this level both teams may very well be playing in late march. I dont know what happened on the reviewed no goal other than i saw it sitting on the goal line then a clusterfudge of stuff happened. Anyone else think maine had a couple of sketchy line changes? Great atmosphere glad to see the intensity back at Agganis. Glad to see the students just being into the game and not always needing a cute cheer or a song to make noise. More nights like tonight please. That was fun. I like hockey.

I've now been to two games in person and they are the two semi-"blemishes" on our schedule....Scarlet let me know I'm okay as long as we don't have a loss...

- Bomber - I agree about the shooting thing, especially Connolly in OT. What was that all about? That plaay went from an odd man rush to basically giving them the puck on purpose...
- Coyle was a monster out there.
- Maine is a very good team as expected.
- We had 5 shots in the first 30 minute, 25 shots in the second 30 minutes
- Escobedo had a tough night. First that terrible behind the back pass on the four on two that went right to a thankful black bear player, and he had a couple other tough shifts.
- When do we start asking questions about Megan as we do about Trivino? He hasn't shown me anything. Perhaps he is playing well defensively.
- Overall a much better feeling tie than the first one I caused.

Nice night for former Terriers:

- VDG had an assist for Colorado, and his line had 6 points
- Colby Cohen made his debut, and he and Shattenkirk helped shut out the opponent
- Yip scored
- McCarthy scored his second goal for San Jose

I believe there are now 7 guys from the title team that have played in the NHL: Yip, McCarthy, Bonino, Wilson, Shattenkirk, COhen, Gilroy
