i cant believe how effortlessly they got up and down the ice for goals 2, 3, and 4. and both of atkinsons goals were essentially identical.

That 3rd goal was the best of the bunch, IMO. That pass to Kreider and his finish was incredible.

The only 'bullet' we dodged in the NCAAs was North Dakota; but that was their fault, not ours.

Years and years ago, my Dad would lament the Eagles' misfortunes by noting how the western teams were 'bigger, tougher, and stronger.' Well, they still may be. But you never saw a more telling show of how speed & skill trump those qualities than last Thursday and Saturday.

I know some people have speculated about our schedule for next season, when does it officially come out. September? August? I feel as though the freakin football schedule is released like eight years prior to that season yet the hockey schedule is in limbo for a while. I'm already looking forward to next year. The Heights reported that Cross received offers from the Bruins but chose to stay here, and Cam Atkinson's parents seem to indicate Cam will also be staying. I'm very excited for next year!

Glad to hear that Tommy Cross and Cam Atkinson are looking to return. It should be a stacked team. It would be nice for the three seniors to go out on top. When was the last BC class to win three Beanpot's? When was the last time a BC class was able to go undefeated vs. BU in the Beanpot in their four years? Has it ever happened?

I found this slick free program that records what's on your screen with moderate quality. I just opened ESPN360... er, ESPN3... and ran the program over the ESPN360 feed.

actually I had the stick from 1949 and gave it to BC. it's in the case.

I am very sure I could dig up old pictures thru family friends

Two questions...

1. Does anyone have any info regarding the contract extension in the works for York?

2. When does his current contract expire? I seem to remember him getting a pretty lengthy extension after the 08 season.

York is redoing his contract this summer. According to Jerry, it'll have the "Yorks and BC's best interests in mind". My guess is this next one will be his last (probably five years to fulfill any promises to incoming freshmen next year)

its immediately before the jimmy hayes goal. i think that is period 2 (within the first 2 mins of the period)
