Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

*** are you talking about? You're so intent on playing this semantics game...

The question was/is simple: who is the best team in Hockey East? Don't try telling me what I meant. Unlike you, I didn't mean for that to be solely based on 27 league games. I meant for it to take into account all the factors I mentioned in my last post.

Let me rephrase the ****ing question for you...

OVERALL, which team is/has been better?

unbelievable

Unbelievable is right. What a moron, its not a ****ing semantics game, if you meant overall then you should have said overall. I said league because I mean in the F U C K I N G L E A G U E. As in league play, how they played in the league against other league teams. Are you really that thick ??

If you want to talk best team in the country and how they played against other teams in the country and how they performed against other teams in the country then say so. Its not a hard concept, one most people get at an early age.......around TWO. But then again that was the question and the conversation. Keep backpedaling ******.

Yes your honor, I know I said I raped her but I meant it was consensual.

No, you idiot. Best team in the league is different from 'best record in conference play,' or something like that.

Um no not really, the best team in the league would be the team with the most points in the league. You have no business calling anyone an idiot.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Ah the beauty of an ignore list. Guaranteed that those posts had nothing to do with hockey.

Ah yes the "ignore" button.....the equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and screaming LALLALALALALLALALALAL I CAN'T HEAR YOU.......

I expect nothing less then grammar school behavior from BC and UML fans. Thanks for living up to my expectations.

hahahahaha this isn't all about you, or about you at all actually. i'm responding to your posts...meaning you're not on my ignore list. too funny.

I didn't say it was about me??? What is it that you struggle with in terms of what people say and don't say?

I said it was childish, and it is. That has no bearing on whether it is me or anyone else you are "ignoring."

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

I didn't say it was about me???

My apologies. I was just following your lead in interpreting what another person really meant. Now I know what some of the other BC fans have had to go through with you on here. You really are insufferable.

Best team in the league means best team in the league, dipsh1t. It's subjective.

We already have a term for 'most points in the regular season in league games,' it's called 'regular season champion' and isn't up for a subjective discussion on a message board.

Maybe you can get your seven aliases in on the discussion and they can back you up on why you think UNH is a better team.

That's right....in the league. The best team in the league is the one with the most points. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

I didn't interpret anything, I started the freaking conversation, I made the original post that you continued upon. You are the one that misinterpreted what was said. Here's a hint, you should have already learned this but clearly you didnt : take what someone says at face value. It will get you a lot further in life, unless it's your wife. Then there are all kinds of hidden messages and innuendo's. You're on your own with that.

This entire post was completely uncalled for.

Tony thanks for the spell checking. You are going to make someone a good receptionist someday.

Oh yeah, your opinion has been duly noted but overruled. Take the panties off and grown some thicker skin.

hey have you figured out who rosy palm is yet?? You are in contact with her everyday I am sure.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Very simple question for you jcarter and then maybe you'll leave the thread and crawl back under your rock...

Overall, which team has proven to be better thus far? UNH or BC?

You really think we are going to get a straight answer? Somehow, jcarter will figure out a way to say Maine or something.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

I guess since UNH is the best team in the league, and BC has a higher PWR/RPI/Krach/etc than UNH, then BC is the best team NOT in Hockey East? What league is BC in anyway?!?!?! And what does that mean!?!?!??!?! And why does Hockey East have a tournament if we already know who the best team is? And why isn't the NCAA tournament just a 6 team tournament of the RS champs?

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

According to USHR:
5'6", 160 lb. '94 forward Austin Cangelosi, the leading scorer at the Northfield-Mt. Hermon School as a freshman, has committed to Boston College for the fall of '13.

Avon Old Farms 5'9", 170 lb. senior forward Quinn Smith, one of the heroes of Sunday's prep championship game win over NMH, will, after a year of juniors, be headed to Boston College in the fall of '11.

Noble & Greenough junior forward Kevin Hayes is looking to accelerate his schooling and enter Boston College in the fall.

No, you idiot. Best team in the league is different from 'best record in conference play,' or something like that.

I think it's pretty clear that UNH and BC are pretty close to one another (hence the one point separation in the standings), but if one steps back and evaluates talent level, play in non-conference games, head-to-head matchups, and the 'eyeball test' of having seen the two teams play, it's perfectly reasonable to say BC is the best team in the league (as is backed up by the PWR, RPI, the polls, the always-almighty INCH Power Rankings, KRACH, and the vast majority of posters on this board).

I'd put Vermont higher than Merrimack or UMass when ranking the best teams in the league, as well - despite their difference in the standings.

I think BC is clearly a better team than UNH. UNH is a one-line team and has suspect defense and goaltending. Give them credit for coming back twice on their own ice, but in the end they still couldn't beat BC this year. The game at Conte was absolute ownage.

I think Lowell is also a better team than UNH to be honest.

Overall, I think it's BC. They were better OOC, (although not much) and combine that with their in league play and yes overall they are better then UNH, who was good in league but horrible OOC.

See, you just have to ask the question you want answered. When you stick to what was said or asked your odds greatly go up that you will get an answer / response that is along the same lines.

and then maybe you'll leave the thread and crawl back under your rock...
?

Leave the thread....no way I'm converting to a BC fan....while ok, UVM/BC fan. This is my co-home-thread ?? I'm here for good.....I needed a second team to root for when UVM is having a down year and has been pointed out to me so much is that you can't go wrong with a team like BC. A team with such a vaunted history can suck at times and it doesn't even matter, a team with exceptional coaches, players and fans. And I really like their colors.....Sharp. :D

Nick, I know reading and thinking isn't your strong point, but take a few minutes and read ALL the posts.
