Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Here's a fun thought for everyone:

Imagine if the SEC takes Florida State and Clemson from the ACC. Many BC fans would want to petition the Big Tenlevelve for an invite...

Think about what WHAT little nugget would do to the college hockey landscape.

EDIT: The FSU/Clemson thing is all speculation, and the "BC petitioning the B1G for an invite" isn't even rumored to happen. It's just an "imagine this..." scenario.

that would be something for sure..........i know it's early in all of this but i would not shed a tear if the cesspool school, FSU left...........i doubt they would unless they still have nightmares about wide right and all the other times Miami blew it in their collective faces on the gridiron. Academically , FSU doesnt belong in the ACC anyway

I agree, but do we need a historical power in the conference to stay relevant?
Holy ****, those are radically different. I'd really like to see the whole uniform before I pass judgment.

we would still have Miami and to a lesser degree Clemson (if they don't leave) who i think won a national championship in the early 80's maybe? my memory fails me

Nike swift rip off

a) I was thinking the same thing.
b) I had a feeling UA would do something like this - either reverse engineer a RBK Edge or a Nike Swift jersey because they didn't really know what to do in terms of uniforms in this sport.

We'll have to wait and see what the authentics are like on the players and what types of materials they are using on them to see if they are really doing something like this. That could explain part of the design on them. For the record, the jerseys last year were not even made by UA, they were outsourced and made by Inaria (I believe), and UA slapped their logo on it. But at least someone had the good sense to leave the jersey alone rather than make it look worse.

We could always move to the Big Ea.....Oh never mind. :o

Here's a picture of the maroon jersey. Not the best quality but it works.

I think the worst part of the new design is the pointing down triangle. Really??

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

what's going on on the sleeves there?!?!
Probably just something to distract opposing players. All it takes is a little puck luck here and there to make the difference between a championship and an also ran. If it can work at the right time it just may make the difference.
