Big Green ! Dartmouth Women ' s Hockey , 2009 - 2010
Good catch! With the score knotted in the third period, Dartmouth takes a time out as time runs down. From the box score it appears the 'tide' had turned in Harvard's favor (shots, etc.) from the start of the third period. After Dartmouth's time out, Harvard scores almost immediately.

For me, some worthwhile observations on the game from, Harvard Crimson Women 09-10.
'Watson Rink':
" Yes, another fast-skating, exciting game. This team seems to outskate most opponents (and skated even with UNH) yet appears fresher and stronger on their skates than their opponents towards the end. Pucci really has a cannon from the point, doesn't she? Ryabkina makes the first line a dominating presence when they're all out there together. Interesting to see all the players getting ice time: basically, two forwards anchored each line and took every regular shift while Ryabkina (working her way in after so many weeks away) and the other forwards alternated on different lines. This is a classic way for a coach to reward whoever is playing best on a given night with ice time that night, while still giving everybody an opportunity to play every night, in constrast to the rigid nine-player fixed rotations of past seasons. "
And from, 'Hux':
" I thought they were pretty much outskated by Dartmouth for the first two periods. (Dartmouth is also the faster of the two teams). Might have had something to do with the poor sharpening that appeared to have been done to their skates, as quite a few seemed to have trouble staying up on their feet.
Miss Pucci is certainly fun to watch, especially since she seems to have free reign to attack at will in the offensive zone. Not too often you see a D hunting for loose pucks in the crease...behind the goalie. "
And, 'Crimson Hockey Fan':
" Nice to see Lisa R. back; the difference with her on the ice was pretty clear. "
So, hoping and with the score even, I had to walk away from the dark corner in my dinning room where the game plays out on the computer. Not any different than anyone else, probably.
Then, 'Blink', up comes the opponents score.
