Rumors are swirling among the girls that BC is considering dropping the women's hockey program after next season in favor of bringing on two other smaller girls sports for Title IX purposes (one of them is supposedly making EQUESTRIAN a varsity sport (?!?!!!?!?!???!!) instead of club).

I'll post more once I talk some more with the girls; I'm home for Eastern break.

We had a great weekend in Detroit! Here's hoping we can watch the ladies do the same in Erie next year.

I would be proud and happy to have an alumni road trip to Erie, even if it is Erie. :p

As disappointing as this season was, you never know. BC will obviously need some impact freshmen to step into important roles, but if that happens, the Eagles could be right back in the national picture. Stack has to be one of the heavy favorites for HE POTY next year.

Who's that? Team Canada had no current Hockey East players on it.

In BC alum news, Allie Thunstrom went 5-7 against BU in the recent doubleheader with a couple of runs scored and RBIs.
