Re: BC Women's Hockey Offseason 2010: Stack Strikes Back
Is Ward also transferring to BU?

Yup.
WHOA.
I think it's safe to call BU the favorites to win the league next year.
Will probably be a liberating feeling for UNH not being the pre-season favorites for once.
I think BC will slot in nicely in the 3/4 spot and could challenge BU and UNH if it all comes together.
Stack back and Shaus in the House and your aspirations fall to mediocrity
I think Hockey East has progressed to the point where finishing 3rd or 4th in the league is not at all mediocre.
Very true. I think it is very possible UNH may actually have to be happy with achieving that kind of placement. I don't see them being anywhere near as strong next year, given their graduation losses....while other teams including BU and BC are adding some big guns to the mix, and UConn, Northeaster and PC will continue to be solid.
Given the powers that be at UNH weren't happy with finishing out of the Frozen Four for the third straight year, I don't think they will be satisfied with fourth in Hockey East.
I don't doubt that either...but while the incoming players aren't exactly chopped liver, I don't think UNH is bringing in the kind of dazzling and deep recruiting classes that some of the other top ranked programs are, they don't benefit from returning Olympians, and the others aren't losing a Kaz finalist either.
A red fish or a blue fish would REALLY come in handy.
I hope my royalty check is in the mail!Stack back and Shaus in the House and your aspirations fall to mediocrity
The real question is whether or not BC will be able to overcome the loss of the Trumpet, which is known to be the 3rd most valuable component to success after Schaus and Stack.
Any truth to the rumor that BC is gonna record Grant playing the trumpet and put the recording on over the PA whenever the Eagles score?
Kind of like me, right?it will not stalk players though

Sorry, I have a big, big problem when people say that. If I were a girl, you wouldn't have said that.

The best way to avoid repeated abuse is never let them see that something bugs you. Needlers are looking for a reaction.I know you were joking, but it's always bugged me.
