BC Women's Hockey Offseason 2010: Stack Strikes Back

Re: BC Women's Hockey Offseason 2010: Stack Strikes Back

That would be good news for BC. More defensive depth is always welcome and it's clear that Cornell had plenty of top to bottom quality this year.

Almost certain it is happening tooo--- overheard coaches----- I am from the boston area----- seen her play numerous times----- she would be a big pick up for BC ----- Moves the puck well, sees the ice well,----has a good shot from the point---

All things BC could use.

I think depth was one of the biggest issues this year. Missing Stack was certainly *the* main issue, but BC also lost a monster senior class and people struggled to fill the roles that players like Fardelmann, Zavisza, et. al. filled for BC.

I am still not sure she is heading back to Boston----
Given Kennedy, Boston is her hometown ---- I cannot see her parents letting her give up an Ivy education----

BC is no slouch in the education department.

Not to mention that we had two talented but streaky, untested goalkeepers instead of the impenetrable brick wall that is Molly Schaus.

sarcasm fail.

I don't get your sarcasm------
What does it matter where she is from????

and it is not East Boston By the way-------
For your information, Cornell's roster has her hometown listed as Winthrop MA

Westy- I think RStarr is just trying to be funny---hahaha

although, the point about her being from Boston that I thought you were trying to make is that she wants to move closer to home---??????

It doesn't matter where she's from. RStarr was being sarcastic because where she is from had been mentioned several times.

Same thing..........Winthrop - East Boston East Boston- Winthrop
OMG!! It finally happened! We finally hit upon something where I truly have expertise!!! I mean, it only took like 800 and whatever posts, but...it finally happened!

I was actually born in Winthrop, and lived in East Boston for a short time. They most certainly are NOT one in the same, especially seeing whereas there is actually water separating the two! Of course, you could take the land route from one to the other, passing through Revere, but that just further proves that they are NOT the same!

Yes, Paul Kennedy was her coach at Cushing where she PG'd after 4 years at Buckingham, Browne and Nichols (Cambridge, MA) where I believe she was coached by Paul's daughter Courtney.

ok--- I get it---I get it---:o :o :o
I was just making the point- I think she wants to come back to be near her hometown

IceIsNice--you are far too modest as well as wise.

I have often found your expertise on many topics very impressive. Thank you for the Boston geography lesson, (which I'll probably never have use for!); easily the most useful and unforgettable thing I have learned from you is the pastry advice. Come to think of it, I think I'm quite overdue ;)
