I don't understand why you Western folks have to come in and stir the pot with these false rumors when she's practically already signed, sealed and delivered for BC.

Let's face it, the power balance is shifting eastward and Ms. Knight is ahead of the game. I can see why that would cause some consternation in the WCHA camp.

Did her family move? Aren't they originally from Chicago area and then moved to the east coast somewhere? I can't imagine why she would want to leave UW. They will be very strong again next year

But with two Olympians coming back I can understand why Knight would want to play for a program like BC. Especially since we showed some promise at many points during the season... If Knight, Stack and Schaus came to lead BC next year, I'm thinking second round of NCAAs at least.

She isn't moving, though as I understand it the family is moving to ski country out west.

after Wisconsin missed the tournament it's obviously high time to bail.

yeah, perfect time to bail to another team that wasn't even close to making the tournament.

But with two Olympians coming back I can understand why Knight would want to play for a program like BC.

Yeah, who would want to play for Mark Johnson when they could play for Katie King?

Especially since we showed some promise at many points during the season... If Knight, Stack and Schaus came to lead BC next year, I'm thinking second round of NCAAs at least.

Not sure if you are aware but the NCAA considers Mercyhurst a WESTERN school, even though they are located in PA...

I did see Knight at the Hockey East game yesterday with Molly. I think she had a BC jersey on underneath her USA vest.

West is currently working with the NCAA to get another four years of eligibility. She's very optimistic she'll be able to suit up for BC next year.

This was supposed to be announced April 1, but apparently Sidney Finch is coming to BC. She's from far northern Canada, she's 6' 2", and has a 90 mph slap shot.
