One main difference, the MAGAts ARE un-American. They believe in authoritarianism and fascism. They are bigots. And the best I can say about any of them, perhaps the ones who are not actively seeking to oppress those they see as less than human is they are the equivalent of the "good Germans." Just how far has "when they go low we go high" gotten us anyway.
Just like with covid having an outsized kill effect on trumpers, I make no apologies for not minding a trump supporter -- a true believing diehard from the looks of it -- biting the dust at a trump rally.
If all of that makes me sound -- or even makes me actually be -- just as bad as an average MAGA wearing a f uc k your feelings t-shirt so be it. I am tired of seeing my country crumble into little by little into a pit of fascism. Fortunately in addition to not giving a frog's fat as s about some trumper finding his way to glory, I am also doing everything I can in my real life to see that it doesn't happen, by helping crews of people trying to end gerrymandering in Ohio, or setting up voter registration drives, or doing what I can to get Sherrod Brown re-elected. When September rolls around 50% of my time will probably be spent on various GOTV initiatives.
Hopefully the vast majority of all of us here are doing something similar. Even if you take one person to vote or to pick up a vote by mail ballot who would not have otherwise voted, you are doubling your effectiveness.
Or does that not count, since it presumably only identifies ownership and not the specific models of firearms & accessories owned?
