7-8% is the tipping point for the gerrymander. Dems get to 7.5% on November 5, and even Tampon Tim won’t be able to soak up all the blue spilling over the walls everywhere.

Maybe I'm wrong, but TV people make money with eyeballs, right? So it's a lot easier to make you mad and make you want to watch what next thing dumpy says and they over look than all of the positive, feel good about the future, that VP Harris is doing.

We, as a society, are suckers for being made mad.

And that's why I don't watch the news, because they know that, and I'm tired of being made angry all the time.

Can't forget that CNN isn't actually a news channel anymore than Faux news is- they are entertainment channels. The news hasn't changed so much that it can't be covered in 1/2-1 hour a day in a factual manner. We are obsessed with other people's opinions and seeing what we think are train wrecks. The scary thing about the "news" channels is that they risk their existence because the right. It happens all over the world, and multiple times through history- the US is not immune thanks to the SCOTUS (that is there because of angry people) over ruling the Constitution.

Do they understand that a D landslide would sell more papers than a close GOP loss without the whole game of chicken along the cliff?

a D landslide would be MASSIVE news to talk about for months
then you'd get the eventual Dems In Disarray stories
AND you'd get to live in a place where you're not the second group put up against the wall.

You’ve heard of “shareholder value”, yes? So thinking about something next spring vs making as much money now… no. dumpy sells. Good or bad. And that sucks.
