Probably one of the best games I have seen them play this year. Good effort and hustle. Z showed why he is starting (something I missed by a mile) Good to see Eddie they got them up for this one.; they came out fast and skated with Genny the whole game. Difference being the same thing it has been all year--shooting ourselves in the foot. 1st Genny goal, awful clearing pass in our own end and the 3rd which was a PPG. Take those away and we are locked at 1 fellas. SOG and PIM were the same for both teams.

Oswego is tied for 3rd place with 5 conference games to go. Stranger things have happened, but I would say they have a pretty good chance at getting in. They may not get a home game in SUNYACs, but unless they completely fall off the rails, they should be in.

Correct on all counts; RS title gone, home ice dim, NCAA at large finite.
What we got is the SUNYACs. We win, and then keep winning.
The team last night was a playoff team. The team that lost to Naz was not.
Plenty of hockey to get some momentum going. Go Lakers.

Left my island for another...Manhattan...I trust you found the video link...as soon as my dinner meeting was done, I fired up the game on my phone...AT&T has problems with dropped calls here, but they can stream content from the restaurant to the cab, the hotel elevator and room without a single hiccup.....go figure. Boys played better...it would be nice to have a bit more offense, right? #IBelieveyes it would be good to pack the CC on a odd Tuesday night tilt.looks like its just you and me Ozfest..........Lou must be busy in the Vineyard

ahhhhh Manhattan now thats my island,at least for 25 yrs, then ran up to Orange county,ya never know what ya gonna get on the big island

I really got my hopes up for this game, Geneseo, It seemed to be the key to turning things around. Just not good enough to swim with the big fish. I see Plattsburgh and Geneseo finishing 1-2, clearly the big fish. We match up good enough with the rest including Potsdam, I think we finish 4th and get a home game against the 5th seed. It's not over, theres an advantage to being to the underdog in 1 game playoffs. Hope they can find some magic in the playoffs.

Yes I know seems to be a mystery,but I would go with lack of production from the sophs and freshmen,besides Herlihy,we have had close to zero,check the stats of Platty and Genny of their sophs and freshmen,and goal production of the whole team as well..........also dont think the netminding has been top shelf,no pun intended...the d has made a few bad flubbs here and there but that is just normal.......true,1 game playoff ya never know,we would need a good run at the end of the yr and our special teams to step up BIG TIME.....edit...stats for freshmen and sophs...platty 43 goals genny 14 goals oz 9 goals,yes we have a few less players in this catagory but the differnce is HUGE,also the lack of offense is very big as far as dmen is concerned,it is what it is.

I think the numbers for Geneseo freshman and sophomores are 17 goals and 36 assists. A big part of that is freshman Anthony Marra, who clearly benefits from playing on a line with Collins and Hills. That line will be around for another year (72 points between them thus far this season), but we will be losing some scoring and strong team leadership from among the seniors.
The biggest thing we'll be losing, though, is size. Hutch used his size pretty well on D. Then we'll be losing Solomon and Donnelly, to pretty big boys. And Ripple and Sgaraglio play pretty physical as well.

,although we do have a big jr class we need the scoring from the new kids as well,thats how it works now-a-days,these sophs and freshman are 20/21/22 y.o not the 18 yo we used to be back in the 80's, big differnce in games played/experience...and as for Oswego the transfers that we have had not lite the lamp to much either,while the genny transfers have pretty much done it all,makes a BIG difference,D1 transfer doesnt mean much unless he produces....Should be interesting off season for Oz..unfortunately it will come to soon this year unless we have a miracle,cue the white horse from History of the World Part 1...Mel Brooks movie for you youngsters
yes genny has had a few good classes,and will be there in the end this yr and next I would think as far as the YAC goes,the scoring for the frsh and sophs on Oswego has been down lets say

First game I have been to since the Castleton game. Not a great win but a win is a win. Iggy did not look great in goal. He made 1 really nice stop and that was it. Cortland's goal was a result of Iggy giving up a really bad rebound which he did all night. Defense was again very soft not much of taking the man. At the beginning of the year I hoped King would be back, which did not happen and that physical presence he brought has really hurt the D' corps. We are a very soft team defensively. This is about the 4th or 5th mix up of lines that I have seen so far and for this to happen this late into the season tells me Coach has no idea on how to right the ship. Not saying it is his fault but nothing has worked this year. It could be just what it is, a bad year. I myself am blaming global warming for there is not any of the good old winters that spurred on the GREAT LAKER hockey. It was nice to see G'man finally get his scoring ways back. His second goal was really pretty. Lastly, I think Coach needs a shooting coach for we are putting way to many shots on goal with little to show for.

Good to have DIII back.....First FULL game I have watched in awhile,we looked pretty fast with Ferreria making a nice gritty/hustle play on our first goal,he looked determined all night to me. Galati nice goals.Iggy was there when needed,big rebound on their only goal but all 3 forwards got caught deep as well.We make to many bad passes in dzone, a more skilled team will convert more that Cort did last night,Scott got pick pocketed a few times looked slow.Forecheck looked good.special teams ok.adams bad offensive zone penalty,that again vs a better team could have cost us at the end of the game.45 shots vs a bottom YAC team and only 3 goals,this has been a problem spot all yr,not sure we have the scoring talent down the line anymore??....should be fun next weekend

Just wanted to come here to comment about all the ties we are seeing in the conference. Would be nice to see the NCAA go to the NHL 3 on 3 five minute overtime to settle a game. Great to watch... maybe use Div III as a test? Just a thought...

I will say this, the 4 on 4 and then 3 on 3 format used in the Primelink and other tournaments have been exciting.
