I thought Ignagni kept us in the game in the 1st despite th 3 goals. Adrian had more than enough chances due to--ta da--defensive lapses and turnovers. Same story all year (and part of last year)
Not his fault and I would ride him the rest of the way. Good progress on the PK and even some of the shooting look better. Next up is Utica away. Go Lakers.

didnt get to watch any of the Pathfinder due to health issues in the family,but ablowout vs Castleton,and really cant say anything about the Adrian game except I thought that may happen the way we have been playing so far this yr,and the fact that Adrian has the horses,look at what they have brought in last yr and this yr,GREAT 2 classes in a row,I think we were probably outmatched from the puckdrop???

Well, it was #4 against unranked. We argue about the rankings all the time but they usually reflect some semblance of reality.

I've been to almost all the games this year and I'm still baffled by this team. We didn't lose THAT much from last year, something else is going on. I don't think it's talent or horses, either the coaches don't know what it is (highly unlikely), they know but haven't been able to change it, or.....???? We're spoiled, not used to being in this position. Humility is good for the soul. :o

just checked the boxes from last weekend, didnt get to see any of the games but no Adams in either game??? He has not exactly lit the world on fire this yr as well as the rest of the team........Doesnt get much easier starting tomorrow with THE U at THE U,dont have a good feeling about this one.:confused:

They are 6-0-1 at home, we gotta dump a ton of shots on their frosh tender, stay outta box, and play some decent defense, please....seeing our boys in Roch on Sat to play Naz. Should be easier, but you know with this team it's anyone's guess.

#28 durocher was freshman at Oswego last year. Coming from pembroke lumber kings. Started season at Potsdam and transferred back to change back to his academic major. Never played for Tufts

watched 5 mins of the first and the whole third,looked like a pretty solid game vs the 15th ranked team in the land...we had a few top chances in O.T. cold not convert them.No adams for the past 3 games and no gallati last night as well..........daveis got hurt just as I had to leave,didnt see him at all in the 3rd, didnt look good,knee again??? The Dourocher thing is crazy,he didnt play last yr, transfers back from Pots and he steps right on the ice??? Naz tonight lets hope we net a few.

This thread is sinking like the Lakers on lake Ontario..........7-6-1,at least we are over 500 for the time being.........Finally got to watch a whole game,and it wasnt pretty,yes we had the advantage most of the game and outshot them pretty well BUT,cant score if you miss the net and hit the goalie time after time after time.some dumbass penalties and it cost us,lost the special teams battle,slightly but lost it.also the penalties we take kills momentum.I'll go back to a post I did earlier , we have little scoring from the sophs and frshmen and dmen,and it shows,Herlihy exception, he is a beast,if we had a team of Herlihies we would be #1 in the land.Not sure how to right the ship, but hustle and hitting never hurt and get guys back into things............No Adams again??? Davis injury,anyone know what up???Neil loves to crash the net and mix it up,love it.Zman back on ice after injury,so that was good to see. WE are just not finishing,like I said ,wide of the net waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many times.Welllets hope we can turn this around by conference play or we may be watching those from the computer as well .Looks like we have lost DIIIfan and Lou what you thinking ???

Adams had a serious injury In practice justbefore the pathfinder, he is week to week.

We have to win the Sunyac...obviously...and play on the road probably...

No passion, no energy....to me that means no leadership in the lockeroom...

That's what I think....I'm a glass half full kinda guy, but it's getting harder to ignore the leaks in the glass.

We are not going to win many games with 2 goals in 3 games. Was there to witness it myself last night and as bak said below, lots of shots, but such a small percentage that were quality. There was real effort by the boys, but by the 3rd period frustration had already set in and they were firing away with many going way wide or straight on. Conditioning looked OK, they didn't looked gassed from the night before, but too much is going the wrong way right now, up the ice and back. Naz took advantage of the defensive lapses and mistakes.

Thanks for the adams update, he adds speed although he has not hit the score sheet to much this yr.I am with lou on the glass, but I am thinking it will be hard to get anything done in the post season if we even make it there?? I am not sure that we can blame the D or netminding,but as stated we will not win to many games with 2 goals in 3 games,perhaps the floodgates will open, and when they do look out, but I also think that we need that luck, and luck has the smell of persperation,like i said hustle and hitting,things ALL the players can do.Its a tough time for the player now being at school with not many people around,I know the felling,they have to lean on each other have fun and have a good week of practice,the U is coming in and they just got beat by Buff St.....Daveis anyone??

I'm pretty sure that Ed was just helping his friend George out by helping to build his team's confidence ;)

I'm thinking we are getting out recruited. The junior class is great but two years now, we have added very little. Herlihey and what else? The juniors are losing the desire. Adrian reloaded, Plattsburgh reloaded. We brought in some useful players but no one who improves the top 6 or top pairs. Maybe it's the Canadian dollar and the usual channels have dried up. The juniors need more help. I guess my glass broke.

Well the production is not there as I have mentioned,and you and others seem to agree.That said the road to recruitment is a bumpy one filled with many twists and turns from who can give what to who,and who wants to do what it takes to get the top recruits,I couldnt even imagine how it goes now-a-days with all the social media,financial ins and outs etc. If point production and wins are the big benchmarks, yes we need to do better,or at least keep up with the jonses.

I think time will tell if there is a trend supporting this theory or we got some guys that just dont fit with us. I think the latter. We are spoiled with our teams success; and it was bound to find bottom out sooner or later. Welcome to "later". Eddie will right the ship. Go Lakers.
