Our Offense was OK. Still having issues with putting in the net when golden chances presents themselves. Bigger concern was Herily getting hurt and the D not looking right. Hart did not play well and as BakDraft has already mentioned Johnson is trying to do to much. Way to much stick handling tonight. Z was on his game for he made some great saves. This was a Very well played game by both teams. The Johnnies looked fast for the first 2 periods then changed to a chippy game. This was a very nice win for us. The freshmen D'men played well. Brun had a couple of miscues but play well, and Ouquette (sorry for the spelling) played a real nice game.

I watched the games by video(by the way I had a very choppy feed today, a lot of buffering , did anyone have that or is it me?) From a far, I watched Brun closely, I think he played very well, defends well and move the puck quickly and efficiently. I'm on record saying we need more from Johnston, I see a healthy scratch in his future. Tough luck for Ragaseo, trying to do to much, he needs some luck and re-focus on simple defense.
The goalies were good, Adrian looks good but got beat on the second goal in game 1. I would split the games next week, use Z and Adrian.
The top forwards are just not producing as they need to. the bottom six of been good. By the way they had new lines today, Neil/Barton/Herlihey--Gallati/Botten/Hulsaf. Didn't seem to help.

We don't deserve to be ranked in the top 15. Let's hope 2016 changes are luck.

Take the pts anyway we can get them.Good win,only watched the second part of the game,Zman looked good,just dont like the bad penalties,save the penalties for the needed takedown when they are about to score and stay away from the b.s. roughing.cross check type stuff.Chances on offense were there we are just not finishing,soon the floodgates will open .We still just seem not all there,or maybe just need a BIG win to get us going.2 games this weekend,then perhaps a much needed break and a BIG Tourny at home.Yes our top dmen need to step it up......Havent gotten an answer as far as Boyd is concerned he is hurt?? Everyone else seems to be getting ice??

A win is a win is a win. My point on the 1st period was not seeing anything resemblling continuity. We did step it up, thankfully, but chances missed were many and we took penalties in bunches.
Two very important SUNYAC games up next fellas and then our own tourney. Go Lakers.

Should be a tough tilt tonight,Buff State at 4-3-3, coming off 2 tough games with ST.Norbert,and they have beaten both Genny and Bport,no slouch team for sure.They will mix it up as needed as always,looked like they had penalty filled game vs ST.N and came out with a 2-2 tie after leading 2-0.Heads up Lakers no pushover tonight.

A couple good wins by the boys over the weekend. They completely took over the game against Buffalo State on Friday and despite being snake bitten in the scoring department ground out a hard fought win on Saturday. A huge four points and a nice way to head into the break.

Didnt see the sat night game,but man with the exception of M'ville the SUNYAC is tight.....Oz had 112 shots in 2games,if some of these start going in with regularity there could? be trouble.A full month off, will it help or hurt??? We will face Castleton,a pretty good 1-8-1 team sounds nuts but they have played close to some pretty good teams so far, not a pushover.Would love to play Adrian,as well,they look stacked and ready to make a push for the BIG win come seasons end...Perhaps a mid season addition??

Very good against Buffalo, we dominated 5on5. We just didn't have the same wheels for game 2 against Fredonia, but are luck finally changed in the last 10 minutes and we got the 2 points we needed and earned.
PP, scoring, defense, still issues but if we can, and we should, get better in 2016, oh what a second half it could be.
What happened to Zawadski, Shut out last weekend, healthy scratch this weekend?? Is he injured?
Weekend results around SUNYAC, we are back in it, so is everyone else. The big 4 head to head looks like this.
Genesso- 2-0-1= 5pts.
Plattsburgh- 2-1-0= 4 pts
Potsdam- 1-2-0= 2 pts
Oswego- 0-2-1= 1 pts.
Genesso, the best of the bunch and Oswego tied them, we had Plattsburgh on the ropes and we let them steal one. Considering the struggles we have had in certain areas, see above, I will take the 11 points.
I think we had a tough schedule to start, and does not get easier. A probable re-match with Adrian and Utica twice before the SUNYAC. This will be a good test for the D and goalies. Maybe the scoring will return.

Early Christmas for Laker fans - WTOP will broadcast all home games during winter break...I believe that will include all four games of the Pathfinder, not just the games Oswego plays...will confirm.

They could use the break to get everyone healthy IMO...and sort out some of these healthy scratches for "discipline" reasons!?!? Given the craziness of the sunyac thus far, it may come down to the conference title...or running the conf and non-conf table to be able to book the lodge in March in LP.

I guess you could argue we were due. After last weekend, I say we fixed some things; we are out of the ICU and heading to rehab now. Holiday tourney will be a test with Adrian coming to town. Lets hope we get to play them.
